Hattrick

8-0! :)

New hatstats best for the second week running.

Sutton only won 2-1 so essentially the title will go down to the last game unless I drop points.

Well, I lost my first game, 6-1 :( :( , but I'm happy that I scored!!! :D :D :D :D I might win my match in Saturday though.:mischief:

Week 13:
FGN FC 0-6 Wartham
Sutton 5-0 Hotshots

Leaving the table as:
1. Sutton Reds 13 50 - 4 39
2. Wartham United 13 61 - 8 36
3. bedwardios FC 13 28 - 24 21
4. R13 UNDERGROUND 13 28 - 25 19
5. Power_House 13 24 - 31 16
6. Ronaldo's Ruiners 13 19 - 36 10
7. FGN FC 13 20 - 46 10
8. Hot_Shots_1 13 5 - 61 3

A win next week and the title would be mine

I won my first match 3-0! I was playing a pretty bad team, but I'm still happy that I won.

And we won!

Wartham 3-2 Sutton. Twice in the first half we went ahead to then concede however in the second half Ryan scored the third goal and we never looked back.

after one season in bottom league, I won 14 times, scored 102 goals and finish with the best scorer ;
I'm back in 6th division, with a better team than last year !

I also won my league!
Very close match on saturday.
I needed one point and my opponent was leading 3-2 (after I have lead 2-0)
and in the 80th minute he got a penalty, but my keeper saved and in the 82 min. my winger scored in his first league match!
But I missed the topscorer title.

Congratulations to you both Elsaak and Dell!

Congratulations to both of you.

I think I will have a difficult season next time in V as few teams quit so V is very competitive and 140 hatstats may not be good enough even for a playoff spot in some Vs.

wow ! 140 htsts isn't enough !!

and me, I difficultly rank 120 pts !
my objectif for next season : staying in french D6 !

What are you training? You have a passable coach but you don't seem to have many young players and none of them have high TSI which would be expected if you are training goalkeepers.

I've been training playmaking all season. My young players aren't too bad, I have a 21 year old with 2400 TSI, he was 900 when I got him. Most of them are below 1000 TSI though.:(

BTW sorry for the late reply. :)

Anyway, time for an updtate on Pugwash FC's progress. I finished 6th, with double the points I had last season. The team is getting better, but it is a tough league with alot of good teams, so I'm not expecting great things from the next season. :(

I just bought a 17 year old with 1700 TSI, and went into debt for him. This kid better be good! :hammer:

Whats his stats? He does sound like a good player to train, generally trainees should be as young as possible.

Stamina: solid
Goaltending:disastrous
Playmaking: poor
Passing: weak
Winger: excellent
Defending:inadequate
Scoring: inadequate
Set Pieces:weak

He should make a good midfielder. Some of his stats are very low, but he can be trained up.:)

He also has the 'technical' speciality. I don't know what that does, but it sounds good!

And congrats on winning those leagues all!:goodjob:

Unfortunately he is a bad trainee for a midfield trainer. When you train playmaking that is the skill that will increase and poor is too low to start off training the skill however it would do as a secondary. What he is very good for is as a wing trainee as thats his excellent skill and he could quickly pop up the levels and could easily be at brilliant by the end of next season.

Winger training could be a decent option for you since you are currently training players that are reasonably old and you only need to buy one more young player for the other wing slot to be at 66% of potential training. You can also train two wingbacks at 50%.

If you do still want to train playmaking then I would suggest selling him on but that could lose you money so I would recommend training wingers instead.

The other trainee should really be 18 or 19 next season and have passable or solid wing skill and then maybe inadequate playmaking or higher plus some stamina but stamina can easily be trained.

edit: Btw the aim of the game is to get players high in their primary skill and possibly a couple of secondary skills, not to get a player that is solid at everything.

Next season the Yorkie Geezers are looking for 3rd or 4th place in their Div6 league.
Main aims for the end of the season are:

Trained and sold some young trainees for a small profit (if the current market prices are anything to go by).
Small increase of stadium size, (built on fan attendance and possibly built towards the very end of the season to maximise the big crowd in the final games).
To purchase a Solid trainer (unless I acquire a suitable player to turn into one) at the beginning of the following season.
Not be in debt after all of the above.

My team's name is S.R. Benfica

Nice to see you here...
BTW get a better keeper (no transfers yet... that is rarely)

I'll switch to winger training then, since I don't have any other good young players.

I'll have a look and see if I can pick up another young winger too. :)

Should have said that you need 4 decent ish trainees. 2 for your match games and 2 to be wingers in the friendlies. It should be possible to get some winger trainees cheaply although they may not be that great but they can always be replaced after a season.
