    Rewster 1-3 Wartham

A shock victory considering that Rewster won midfield but he weakened his defence to strengthen his central defence which was a mistake since he could never match my central attack.

Guy Smets the rock of that attack then left hours after the game for a record £1 254 000 and will now be playing in the USA. Wartham have not yet commented on what the money will be spent on.

Seems to be much money, congrats.

Have played only 1-1. Hoped to win.
I guess, I need new attackers.

    Time for an update.

Its been a bad run of games for me, I have scored only 1 point since my win on the opening day of the season. I have lost games that I should have got points from becuase two of my key players are injured. :(

I lost 4-0 against an inactive team. The next 4 games are guarenteed defeats.

In the last 10 weeks he has logged in twice. Once after 6 weeks and once after another 4 weeks. So technically the team is still active but really they are not.

Ah I see. I had a similar team in my league last season, a relegated team. The first season he immediately became champion, but the loss of the promotion game plus a bad season start made him give up. Though his team was a lot stronger than mine I knew for sure what his tactics were and thus beat him (by a very narrow margin I must say).

How's the BDF cup going this season?

I went out to the second round because this year I didn't have high form so a couple of players played in poor form and its a much harder league so I cannot leave out players from the first team and play them in reserve games.

I'm hoping to beat the inactive team at hom in 4 weeks when I MOTS on a decent TS and hopefully have good form.

I'm on a promotion place again, after the former 2nd lost against the leader.
Maybe I can even PIC the next 5 games, we'll see...

well, my team is still in a interesting victories-serial :
    1+14+6 = 21 victories in a row in league

    I won over 3-1 over the 6th ; 124 Hatstat, 32*

The second, after a defeat, is 5 pts behind me...

    Another Newbie update.

I am currently 4th in my div VI. I will be battling for 4th/5th place at the end of the season. My team is now playing at 105 - 110 hatstats, around 28.5 - 29.5 stars. I think I am in a tough division, which means that when I eventually promote to div V I will have a team strong enough to have half a chance of staying there, (or at least that is my hope).

Form has been a nightmare for me, (a result of the effects of off season stamina training and bad luck.)

Murderous TS, PICing and still with low form players and playing away against the team that are top of the league. Somehow the final score was:

    Quakers 0-0 Wartham

It seems as if my improvements in defence at the start of the season have paid off as his attack was weak and failed to break through. It was surprising to see no goals though since I have never played in a competitive goalless game. Next week we will be PICing again against the team in second who also massively outclass us. The downside from the result was an injury to an 18 year old close to formidable so I am trying to buy a 17 year old English Solid before my friendly this week.

I am having no joy getting into the Hattrick website at the moment to check out my friendly match. Is anyone else having problems?

You are losing 2-0 at half time:

Using http://extra.hattrick.org/common/default.asp works although its meant to only be for emergency use for those that cannot use the primary servers so it should go down later on today as more and more people log on to it.

    My last two results:

    Wartham 0-6 Cheery
    Cheery 5-0 Wartham

    I wasn't cheery.

Today, I have no luck. I'm not coming to the hattrick site...
At least I am sure my standard lineup will win against this one...
But maybe tomorrow I have more luck...
