with a 10th defeat, I'm going to play in VII div next season , and the other downer is also known...
In the other hand, the leader (who nearly upgrade last season) is 5 points ahead the 2nd, and they will play each other in day #14

1st, 7th and 8th places are all relatively settled although anyone from 2nd to 6th could end up finishing 2nd. I think I might lose tonights game since I haven't been able to establish a run of good results recently. However I will then MOTS my next two games and hopefully finish 2nd.

So, I am on a sure third place now. Have sold a player for 250000 Euros.
So, I now have 100000 Euros to do something.
What should I do with it?
Three possibilities:
1. Upgrade stadium: My stadium is big enough now (15000) but I have made a typical newbie mistake as I have 9000 non seats, 5000 seats and 1000 with roof.
But upgrade would cost more than 100000 so, I'm in debt again.
As most games are not nearly sold out, it might be better to wait, but then the prices are higher (OTOH my places are not as bad as other newbies did)

2. Buy young, good trainees. I have good trainees but not for every training place.

3. Raise youth squad to 20000 Euros per week (now passable with 10000 Euros investment)

Any advice?

You might want to sort out your stadium with the majority of your cash but it shold also be a priority to fill the other training slots since otherwise you are wasting training. The Youth Squad investment depends on whether you expect to make money over a biweekly period where you play a home and an away game.

I was at first thinking about not upgrading my stadium, but it seems that the fan club size will increase strongly (seems to be a rule change), so I think I will increase it to 20000.
So, it was good to wait for a week before spending all my money...

6-0 in the end. There are three teams level on points going into the final game of the season and I need a point from my away game against the team in fourth to stay second. The team in third is playng the top of the table side so they shouldn't get more than a point. The league table:

After calculating the best size and the best number of the different types of seats, I've seen that having no VIP Seats costs me about 8000 Euros per home game, I decided directly to upgrade my stadium, although the size would be enough.
With the money from VIP Seats alone I can refinance the higher support costs, so I now get a stadium for 20000 spectators.

Oh, and I'm hoping for my first point in CDZ Cup, I can field my best team, so beware...

The idea of waiting for the upgrade is that if you are going to take on debt you might as well only go into debt for the same amount of time it will take for next home game to be played so that the stadium upgrade completes before the next home game without paying interest for an extra week.

Beware in the second leg we will play our full team. In the first game we will probably play 6 or 7 second teamers with the rest as first teamers.

In the first couple of Rounds in the Cup game, the attendance is generally lower than normal league games. But since stadium prices will increase anyway, now it’s a good time to start upgrading.

In the two winnable games that I played I was still playing a weak friendly team so I lost. Later on I managed to get a point against a better team than some teams I had lost to before. Basically I hope to do better next season when training benefits kick in a bit more.

For my stadium upgrade I only had to go 2K EUros into debt, so since my first league match and cup match will be at home, I will have some money again then.
And after that I will buy me a better team... so watch out in the next CDZ cup...

Should be -90k in debt by the end of the week which will mean that I will be about -140k in debt when the cup starts. Not going to be spending any money in the near future.

I'm expecting a full house tonight, so that will keep me out of debt until the next season starts. And since any player I'd be buying cost me over 500k euro's, I won't be buying any players right now.
