Hattrick

Won 5-0 (PIC) against a manager, who didn't log in by now.
But what really surprised was, that I had over 15000 spectators, because the opponent can't have more than 150 supporters.
Seems like if I promote, I have to do another upgrade of my stadium (20000 capacity).
And I'm already sure, I will promote...

Attendences are mostly effected by the home team, what mood the fans are in and the weather. The opposition is also significant but if they are not bottom in the league then more supporters may still turn up.

Bit of a mixed result. Highest ever midfield rating (higher on a normal than when I MOTSed earlier in the season with the same players) and highest ever attendence which virtually takes me out of debt. Shame that against a disasterous midfield we only scored two chances and barely won 2-1.

So, I have 12 points after winning away 6-0 vs. the team on the last place (who hasn't logged in for 6 weeks). My TS is good, because I PICed the last 2 games.
Still looking forward to promoting....

I finally won a match! 2-0. Its the first time I have scored more than 1 goal in a match.:D

Nothing to get too exited about though, it was against the worst team in the league, plus they have no manager.

I also bought a 19 year old passable keeper.

You were really unlucky with your starting team

Really? I thought everyone got a useless team when they started, lol.

I did. Beyond all crap. Usually you get at least a single player that you could sell for some amount of money. I didn't. But I got over it ;)

In my league there were 5 teams including mine that signed up in a similiar time period and we all got reasonably decent squads which have generally been able to get around 90 hatstats it seems.

won 0-8 :)

My next 3 potential fixtures:

Semi Final of BDFNC against G-String HFC at a neutral stadium in the US.

Home league game against Bedwardios who are third level on points with me.

Final of BDFNC if I win the semi final.

5-0 win.
5 matches, 5 wins.
Playing aginst akots' Chemists this week in CDZ cup.

3-0

5 wins in a row. Playing in the BDFNC cup final this weekend with 6 months of supporter as the prize.

So I am now clear in second place on points with things progessing nicely. Matthew Ryan is two goals clear as the division's top goalscorer, we had our first pop to formidable and haven't had to MOTS so far this season.

Arena: Het Kippenhok
Crowd: 1686

At Het Kippenhok, 1686 punters turned up, and despite threatening clouds at the horizon, no rain came. The match took place on neutral ground. Wartham tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded: Gray - Edwards, Matthews, Budd - Pelgrims, Crook, Moulin, Laporte - Hammond, Kneale, Rowan.

Krampekameratene started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Risfeldt - Wik, Larsen, Eikenes - Henriksen, Støa, Lautraite, Borre, Jacobsen - Bjørnsen, Giralte.

Wartham seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Krampekameratene took the lead in the games 6:th minute with 0 - 1 after some elegant plays down the middle. Casper Wik was the scorer. The away team´s Oséias Giralte took advantage of a mistake to the home side´s right in the 7:th minute increasing Krampekameratene´s lead to 0 - 2. In the 20th minute, following yet another great corner, Nicolae Laporte knocked the ball to the limit of Jon Edwards's reach, who just couldn't put it in the net. Krampekameratene came close to extending their lead as Jarl Støa delivered a long range shot from the right but the angle was too sharp, and the shot hit the side of the goal. Alec Matthews sailed high, high above the opponents as he headed the 1-2 in after a corner kick after 25 minutes of play. Wartham's Robert Pelgrims got himself booked after a foul. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 2. This part of the game had been a standoff between the teams.

After 63 minutes of play Paul Hammond equalised for Wartham after an elegant attack from the right. Krampekameratene took the lead in the games 82nd minute with 2 - 3 after some elegant plays down the middle. Glenn Eikenes was the scorer. Krampekameratene came close to extending their lead as John Bjørnsen delivered a long range shot from the right but the angle was too sharp, and the shot hit the side of the goal. In the 86th minute, Wartham's Jon Edwards received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After a fatal mistake from the away teams right side defense in the 86:th minute, an alert Paul Hammond bagged the ball, evening the score to 3 - 3. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Wartham, with an impressive 54 percent possession of the ball.

After the regular 90 minutes, the agony of overtime followed. In the 97:th minute cheers broke out as Nicolae Laporte found his way through the guests central defense line, clipping the 4 - 3 goal in for Wartham. This put an end to extra time, making Wartham the winners. The most dominating Wartham player was without a doubt Robert Pelgrims. Alec Matthews on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Krampekameratene player was Magnus Risfeldt. Lars Borre on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 3.

It was my first team, with my B line of trainees up front against his full first team and it ended in extra time with the midfields being equal on everything but stamina that allowed the reverse in the second half. In the end it was excellent playmaker, Laporte, who scored the winning goal.

It was an interesting game, no reports came for the first 20 minutes and then I found myself 2 goals down fortunately we came back to 2-2. Only to concede another in the 82nd minute. Hammond came to the rescue to level the scores and head for extra time. Both teams had other chances to win the game but Krampekameratene did have one opportunity straight after they had scored their third which would have been game over. Happily it ended well with Laporte scoring from his second chance to allow us to win in extra time on the golden goal rule.

:D

0-3 last weekend. 6-0 this weekend. Oddly I actually had the better team in the away game since I PICed at home. Reasonable crowd of 18k considering I was playing the team in 6th.

Hmmm...I should have used my mind before...without supportership, you wouldn't have been in the BDF...

One of the participating teams in the competition didn't have supporter but was an active member on the off site forum.

I am in my first season on Hattrick.

Yorkie_Geezers (56453).

I picked up a poor team and am focusing on trainning to raise cash (rather than win games) at the moment. My team is coming together, but I am being let down by my level of possession which I gather is down to a combination of passing, playmaking, stamina and TS, all of which are not good just now.

"but I am being let down by my level of possession which I gather is down to a combination of passing, playmaking, stamina and TS, all of which are not good just now."

The key to the game is midfield so if your midfielders have good stamina and playmaking they will get more possession. Its all about training stamina in the offseason if they happen to have low stamina.

Thats weird I was actually looking at your league yesterday but didn't realise you had one of the teams in it.
