When you wrote that post, this point in time was in the future, though not necessarily in the distant future. Therefore, I'll send you an invitation (and also because I have too many invitations...)
I won't need any gmail account untiil I start my politics career, and I'll only use it for hate mail :p

Damn it. Not only did Gmail fill me back up to six invites for the fourht time but my lasst to invites are not working.

But, Gogf, that's the address that always appears when I click Help...it's weird because all it has is "=" and nothing more. I wish this was fixed...

@noncon: So? I'm not going to download another browser to make it work. As long as you have a firewall and antivirus and downloaded XP SP 2, why is IE an issue?

I think hotmail may be up to it's old tricks again. Two invites I sent to two hotmail accounts failed to work. I sent one to a non hotmail account and it worked.

You should be damn lucky that you're only getting a 404 page when visiting some parts of the site. Unless I boot up Promixtron and enable proxy servers (it's a real pain just for one thing), I can't get into Gmail at all.

I did get another hotmail email recently that they would be upgrading soon...

What, telling you they plan to upgrade sometime before 2010? :p

I hope they update soon as I plan on saving all my gmail stock alerts(I really wish I could subscurbe using my gmail account.:( )

MarineCorps, Gogf, and everyone in this thread: Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, it didn't help. :P When I click on Help, it had this link saying "Login required, etc, etc, click here if not redirected." So I say, yeah, fine, I guess I'll see what happens when I click it. And it worked. :) I'm currently contacting Google, so I'll see if I can get my invites squared away. :)

Yipee!! From an autogenerated email by Google ( ), I got my answer. I had to log in on the secure Gmail page "https". I now have six invites if anybody wants them. :)

It was atire because all Firefox users (though I use it) traditionally gang up on ie users.

Marine, how do you get that icon in your startup tray. I get really annoyed not being told when I get a mail in my account??

And does anyone know when I'll be able to use Gmail with Opera??

PS- Invites now working. if you want one (and Marine hasn't already given you one from his pile :) ) then PM me.
