Have you got any Irish in you?

Do you, to your knowledge, have any Irish heritage?

Yes, though one side settled in Canada first before moving to America.

Yes, though I guess that could make me Scotish too :p

I always thought your username was a reference to the Greek warrior, now I realise your RL name is Patrick Roklos. So are you from the Tipperary Roklos' or the Waterford branch?

I always thought it was Greek. I have never heard of any Irish name like Roklos.

Its official, Ireland is the most popular country to leave ever.

At least one great-grandparent, officially, who came from Sligo.

 My hometown. I get why he left.

Considering I'm from a country that has absolutely nothing to do with Ireland, I'd say no. It's probably more likely I have a bit of blood from their enemies instead.

Where are you from? I can't think of many countries that have absolutely nothing to do with Ireland. I mean we went all over the place with the British Army.

I think the vikings used to bring Irish sex slaves back home, so maybe I have some Irish in me I don't know of.

Poor choice of sex slave...

I guessed it from your temper. That would explain twenty centuries of struggle for independence of scotch-irish people from various invaders. :)

According to my great uncle's geneology research I am from wherever the original surname O'Cullinanea is from. According to him that is somewhere around Cork.

I guessed it from your temper.

My condolences

:confused::confused: why do you need to hear form your uncle's geneology reasearch to find out where yer from? Could you not just axe your parents what counties they lived in?

My great grandparents are the original immigrants, and they died long before I was born or old enough to care to ask such things. All my grandparents were born in the new world.

I assumed you were talking about ethnicity as opposed to citizenship status.
