Anyways, would Sweden care about the religion of its monarch these days? I recommend Lohrenswald convert to Zoroastrianism and marry his sister for a nice hefty prestige and piety boost. He can also then have concubines too for more prestige and children. I also recommend he find a better spymaster to improve his chances of, er, successfully eliminating any who cross him. Actually owning some territory would help, so he might need to raise up cash to send his army of adventurers somewhere.

Well, according to CKII, there's nothing stopping a Scandinavian from converting to Zoroastrianism. Hey man just trying to think of unusual solutions to unusual problems that don't require you marrying rich people.

Another alternative would be to become Muslim. You get some pretty nice CBs such as kingdom-tier invasion, although you'd have to worry about decadence.

Paganism might work too, I guess - any variety - since you get those powerful tribal invasions, but then again your government will probably end up crap due to the relevant malauses.
