Here is a MP scenario. How would YOU play it?

This is actually the way my friends and I typically play MP, but we rarely finish completely because the gameplay isn't compelling since everyone is so passive most of the time.

-Pangea
-Standard size
-Quick Speed (No one has the patience for standard)
-3-5 players, 3-5 Emperor AIs, 12 CS
-Diplo and time victories disabled.
-Allowed policy and promotion saving
-Disabled start bias
-Random AI personalities

So in this situation, how would you play to win? Or, given the number of human players, how would you set it up for more compelling gameplay?

whoever abuses CS and ais most clever should win

Pretty much this. Being surrounded with AIs is very favorable for the human player. Maybe try at deity level where conquest is more difficult?

AI? :mischief:

I'd capture all the good nearby AI cities and milk the gold out of them with lux/strat trades for gold.
If the other humans i was playing weren't ahead in tech/production i'd then go on a warmongering rampage? ;)

Yep, milk the AI all day long if they are going to be in MP.

What about paying an AI to attack your MP enemy. Then send your troops in after to mop them up.

Can be okay sometimes if you can bribe them for really cheap, but that's assuming it's like Immortal level AI that actually has built units.

CS allies can be helpful on Immortal+ MP for this too.

Thing is though, in MP, you know if someone paid the AI to attack to you as it happens during the humans' turn, so they may well be able to figure out who did it.
