Heretic_Cata's "All in One" mod (Semi-Private Beta)

I can't hate what i never played ;).
If i would hate it, then he would not get away with this sort of profanation of my thread ... but this is not the case. :)

Oh yea, guys, those that played the game an got a bit further.

What was the happiness level of the ppl ?

For me they were sorta always unhappy, i had to sit with 10% luxury always in the Middle ages. But that is probably because i built most of the stuff (but not all those that gave unhappy faces). So i need to know how happy the ppl were to a normal person that doesn't build as much stuff as me...

^
That's great.
Then maybe like this, ppl will actualy build all those happy religion wonders. :D

Hi, another noobish question:

How does the computer associate the:
"Art\city screen\luxuryicons_small.pcx" with the actual luxury resources in the game ? ... :hmm: I didn't find anything in the pediaicons to point me to it.

But i don't know the order in which i should add stuff to the .pcx file ... it would be easy to play a game and check ... but what are the chances to find those 3 new luxuries again

My understanding is that if you add the small luxuries to the small pcx in the same order as you added the new luxury icons in the editor and in the pediaicons it should work out. Of course I could be wrong.

I tried that now and i didn't work properly ... but the entries in the pediaicons are not in the same order as the ones in the editor...
I'm gonna post this outside so that everyone would see ... i am not doing this by trial&error again kuz i am not in a good mood now.

OK...........I think though you will need to have them in the same order. I havnt done much with the luxury icons because they do not crash the game as far as being on the small pcx

Hey guys, what about the plague ... did anyone notice it ? :) I like the plague ... you might have heard that i will be using plotinus' angel of death for the plague for the final.

So how was the plague ? was it wimpy ?

Well, it could of done with a bit more death and destruction:evil:.
I got it in two of my cities and it killed two units....
:cry:I am cursed with healthy ppl - in ALL the games i played (all mods too) the plague didn't even kill anything, it just decreased the pop by 1 and disapeared...

Ok then, i'll increase everything by ... dunno by how much ... depends on my mood at the time. :)

Also, another question:
Were there any plagues in the industrial-modern era ? Kuz acording to my calculations it shouldn't happen ...

Well I got mine in the late middle ages and the only other civ I saw with plague was america; in the ancient times.

Did it last too long ?

Ok - the plague length got doubled. :D

@Virote: How's your side of the civilopedia progressing ?

Can't get to my comp with your mod on it... I may just d/l the latest patch and pedia onto this one and try that, although I don't trust this one (too many viruses, although I can't prove it, as I have no protection software on it).

What happened to your old comp ?

Anyway i don't need them now ... i just wanted to check.
But i think it might be possible for you to do the civ-specific wonders entry in the Games Concept. But only if you base yourself on the info in the first post to see which wonders are civ-specific ... don't count on what is already written in the civilopedia.
So the "Civ-specific Wonders" concept should be no more than a list with the civs and the wonders taken from the first page. The wonders should have links on them, the civs don't necesarely need links, it's not that important.
