I figure Bannor is going to be molded into a late game super civ and that a cusade is inevitable. As Camulos i figured i was one of the best targets.

At the moment i have no plans for Bannor although i was thinking of setting up a barbarian civilization (3 cities) in the middle of the desert on the 3rd or 4th intervention. This would be the most choatic land and obviously meant to provide some fun barbarian lore. (as Bannor is the closest i figured they would attempt to kill them)

Thats not too much of a challenge of the bat is it?

Well, if it served some immediate purpose I would likely do it.

I don't think any gods would run around willy nilly forming alliances. The gods liked to do things their own way, sticking to things which concerned their precept, or sphere.

Life can certainly be considered responsible in some of it's aspects, but it could also very likely be considered chaotic in many ways.

Life is survival. Surviving doesn't always mean being "responsible".

Like I said though, if there is a pressing reason to join forces at some point, I wouldn't be against it. That being said, I don't think the god of Life (or any god for that matter) would maintain an "alliance" beyond a point where it's to their own detriment to do so.

We'll have to see where the story takes us...

I think the good Gods may get offended by your expectations of them to fail in bringing law and goodness to the world :lol:

Personally i'm aiming for all civs to die if the armagedon count reachs 100 but thats beause i'm Camulos. Some Gods may make plans to bring about the apocalypse. Others to halt it. But once it's here all hell will break loose (literally) and no one may get a chance to intervene before Verdian DIES suddenly and painfully.
 
Just figured i should apologise, while writing the exposition for stevenson it got out of hand and now along with painting barbarians as the wise loaners (think fight club for FFH) the Harbringers are now also waging a long term propoganda war at the other Gods as well as starting up flash wars.

Just thought i'd make sure you all know it's the Harbringers fault! I had no idea this was going to happen! *points finger* it's their fault! blame them!

P.S I have worried about it and someone has mentioned that the swordsman Stevanson is too powerful. He has rusted, (damn... now i'm not sure if i added the light promotion like i meant to...) but sinister is keeping his power at 4. If we could nerf that and maybe add enraged for flavour instead i believe it would be golden. Any ideas people? Cernunnos was the one who added sinister but that was when he was still a scout. So i don't see any problems.

Does he still have Weak? If so, then he should keep Sinister.

I can do that. Is it that you're going to replace a worker with a warrior, or add a new warrior and keep a worker? The latter is more sensible gamewise, but doesnt make much sense storywise. Nonetheless, I will add a warrior and reneme worker to well.... "worker"

brw I liked your story too. I would be disappointed if similarity of the names Paal and Baal are just pure conincidence though. I expect that Paal will in fact kill himself in this duel or kill "dark part of his soul" or whatsoever.
 
Who has added ruins west of N.G.? Did I missed a description? May I delete it?
And I see Finnegan is missing hero promotion. Was it purposely removed?
 
I added regeneration to finnegan....don't think I removed any promos though.

The ruins were added because I moved the citadel deeper into the forest. That way when he discovers it he will think it was destroyed.

If you want to, just remove it.

I thought we have agreed that you will use the very same citadel as was already there for your purpose. The location was important, as it was guarding the mountain pass. Until he opens it no Khazad settler arrives to claim his land.
If you dont mind, I will move your citadel, along with all your units (Orge, healer etc.) to my previous location at the mountain pass.

I've got the feeling Dean's changes are not fully implemented (even though someone said he made your changes). I think there is no bounty hunter promos again.

Look at that and do changes if necessary. I'm too tired to look into again.

Be prudent! The save you post might be the one Verdian gets for a weekened! Test it before you post!!
 
Just posted a story about a boy named Cael, who was the brother of the boy I used in a random event earlier. He has been coaxed by one of my messengers into full rage. With my next interevention, I plan to place him as a unit outside the city. Engraged promotion is definate, maybe Aeron's Chosen.

So far, all that should have happened from my intervention is that his hero gets a net -20% strength penalty and crap healing (the net of Withered and Diseased), and gets a free bounty hunter promo. Past that, the AI got markets in their capitals.*

To date, everyone's been giving him lots of goodies. Lots of them: free units beyond his level, Great People rewards, the whole nine yards.

He needs to have something thrown in his face, and what I've done hasn't come close to what he could have. All I've really done is threaten to nullify rewards of gambles he takes, and remove any financial techs he researches until he apologizes.




**What should have been done: Adventurer gets Withered and Diseased. 7 gold removed. Markets for each AI capital of neutral/evil leaders. Because I want to set the Hippus up as a major force, Calendar to them and one cash crop requiring plantations. All in all, not much.
