hey guys :) warning bug!!!!

hey ive just joined this forum
first i have a bug on my civ 4 beyond the sword
basically if i start a game then when the game progresses to about 2301 then it has a warning saying something like

reference memory could not be found
0x00000000
press 'ok' to terminate program
or press 'cancel' to debug

and it always quits anyhow !!

any advice be nice

2301 is far into the future
googleing this error shows that it is more likely to be a hardware issue though - does something like this happen with other memory intensive programs?
you might want to check your system memory with this tool:

also does the Windows event log contain anything about this crash?
