Nature should be a non-player entity and to be realistic should be at war with everyone. It is a natural hazard that affects us all.One problem I'm finding in the single player games is the other AI civ are frequently going to war with Nature and wasting resources to attack
Nature cities.

I think that is the problem. Barbarians also have a hidden nationality and the AI Civ's seak them out continually. That is why I listed Nature as a non-player Civ in my 'Defeat' scenario. Nature can then be friendly or at war with anyone and it seemed to work quite well.Rhodie:
All of nature's mobile units have hidden nationality so they can attack anyone.

Not that I recall. I tested that scenario many times before releasing it and as far as I remember in the first few turns Nature attacked and took over several towns that had no defence but I dont think that the opposing factions (there were two, Japanese and Siam versus the Allies) spent much time (if any) attacking Natures cities. Like you, I placed Natures towns off the beaten track without roads or railways. As the two factions were automatically at war from turn one, maybe they were too busy? You did not have this problem of the AI making useless attacks on nature cities in
'Defeat'?

Is Nature a dedicated Civ in your scenario? Nature in Defeat was the Mediterranean culture group and Egyptians in the Civilopedia. But only the AI played Nature.
