HN02-B The Jihadist Power of Religion

I've been considering an idea for an SG. Terra Map, vanilla, standard settings. Start off in old world; the idea is to not only colonise new world but lose all the old world cities (give them away, get them conquered, whatever) by a specific date ?1774) and go on to win from the New World only (you'd lose any wonders etc you'd built in old world). Can't have any cities in old world once moved ruling out domination but all other victories possible.
Does this sound i) acheivable? ii) interesting? iii) original?

Vanilla means just plain Civ4, not the Warlords add-on or any mods.

And no one is blaming you for our over expansion. It was a natural conclusion for you to assume we wanted lots more cities after watching just the previous turn set or two. Those things happen in SG games, especially when someone joins the team midway into the game. I've made far worse blunders than that. Remember, we play to have fun.

i would play it. but couldn't we after 1776 wait 100 years then retake the old world?
