Random events should definately stay a part of the HOF! It removes the "cookie cutter" approach and forces you to prepare, even though just slightly, to handle "the unknown". IMO, the best change in BTS (though could have gone farther)!

I am bummed that the option of disallowing tech brokering is not allowed, although I guess I can understand the reasoning. Guess I just won't be playing as many HOF games, as I really like that feature and will continue to use it in many games I play.

Your above statement is unhelpful. If you feel strongly about it, make your case.

We have a thread dedicated to discussing BTS Game options. Everyone is encouraged to discuss the pros & cons of the different game options and the choices we have made for the BTS Beta.

What do you like about it? Should it be optional? What are the advantages/disadvantages? If it were allowed, would everyone have to use it to compete or is it more a flavor?

In the end, it may not be allowed, but without meaningful feedback and discussion, nothing is liable to change.

Yes, I wanted to ask the same. I saw that the winner of BtS gauntleble. Will BtS submissions useful for quatrromasters' other parts than gauntlet?

At the moment I believe that all BtS submissions (not only those for this gauntlet) go into the Beta tables (as did the early Vanilla and Warlords ones) and don't count for Quatromaster. Once the powers that be decide on the final rules for BtS submissions those games that meet them will likely be ported to the official tables and then count for QM as well (how many that will be is anyones guess).

Yes, you can submit any BTS game that follows our HOF rules. For now, all BTS games, both gauntlet and normal, are placed in the BTS Beta tables.

Currently BTS games are not acceptable as Quattromaster submissions.

We are waiting for a BTS patch before moving forward. It is expected pretty soon. Plus we have to figure out how we are going to integrate BTS into Vanilla and Warlords submissions.

Yes, as long as that keeps growing we'll wait to finalize the new HOF Mod version. It might mean it takes a bit longer but the 3.13 patch has a lot of bugs.

I.e. one nice "feature" Firaxis added is removing the culture, espionage points a new building will give. Check the appropriate thread what is going on with bugs.

I am currently missing a 3.13 bugs collection thread. Is this a task of a moderator or should we wait until someone starts collecting them organized?
