Yes, since BTS uses vanilla assets.

Well, the setup told me I already had 1.74 but I did it anyway, no change in the assets checker. Then I tried installing the latest warlords patch and it reduced the errors by about a dozen. still have 1084 though, most of them with the vanilla and warlords assets. Do I need to install them in the correct order for it to work? (civ4, civ4 patch, warlords, warlords patch etc.)

BTS is an expansion so it only has the stuff that is different from Vanilla. It is best to install the releases/patches in order. Especially since the BTS patch also changes the Vanilla and Warlords assets.

1000 errors is too high. You should run window update like I mentioned above.

I ran windows update with no success, and I don't really feel like wiping the game from my system and redoing it again right now so thank you all very much for your help. I'll be getting a new computer in a couple of months anyway so maybe I'll see if I can get it working then.

When you reinstalled, did you actually delete the folder the old install was in? If not then it could still have some old stuff/mods from before.

Basically uninstall it all and delete the install folders on the hard drive.

Then install Vanilla and it's latest patch.
Then Warlords and it's latest patch.
Then BtS and it's latest patch.
Then install the HOF mods and you should be ok.

And a quick question: Does the Fall from Heaven mod conflict with the HoF mod? It's pretty extensive so I'm guessing yes but thought I'd ask first.

I have both mods going and I've never had any issues as they both install in their own seperate folders.

With several players with 200 in overall score are all on rank No 1 or is it something more then score that counts in Rank?

The code is pretty complicated but I don't think that there is a tiebreaker in the sort. Technically they are all tied for first. There just too many tables that make up each speed (i.e. 1/4th). Since it spands Condition, Map Size and Difficulty (somewhat), I doubt there is a realistic tiebreaker. Fortunately the other categories and overall seem to have a better spread.

Correct! Only Rock of Ages. Got to get the other categories the hard way

OK.

It's going to take more time, but as consolation my finish dates for the odd maps will probably be better, and my Rock of Ages can be laden with my favorite leaders/maps/VC's.

Yea, I'm knocking out rock of ages right now, just gotta get a Classic win. After that I just need 2 more leaders and 4 more maps and I'll have finally got EQM Noble.

How long does it usually take to "publish" games to the HOF? I have several games that are "accepted" but not "published." I'm not complaining; just wondering when those games will be published.

Look at the dates on the HOF. Publishing happens every 10th and 25th of the month.

So the game is locking up on me. I'm running BtS and HOF 3.17.001. Every 20 turns or so it freezes and quickly goes to a black screen. Ctrl-alt-del does nothing. Windows key does nothing. I have to reboot. Anyone else get this? Anyone know what's going on? I removed Civ IV and BtS and reinstalled with 1.74 patch and 3.17 patch.

Could you be low on memory?

I had a blank screen a few times about a year ago on Warlords using my old machine with 1GB of memory. My current machine has 3GB and no problems with BTS (except the initial problem of getting it to work with Vista).
