The decision to end the game I believe lies purely with the Axis Players. IF that is what you want to do then by all means. Both Eric and Muz are or are about to be away for vacation. So I'm sure they wouldn't mind. Over to you guys to tell us what you want to do. It has been a blast playing this game with you guys. I am onboard for starting a new game after the vacations if anyone is interested? I've never played the CW so would be positioning for them in a new game. Though I might add I'd like Eric to consider changing some of the Nature Units' effects. A Nauture unit should never be able to capture cities nor roam unchecked for months!! Not to mention Defense Factors way to high....Just my take and I hope we have a chance to discuss this subject before starting a new game. Cheers!

I'm okay either way, I'm gonna be busy this next month though. One thing I've noticed playing single player as Japan is that SNLF with defense rating of 1 is much less useful with the nature units, can't do those early strikes cuz nature kills them and captures that city in a couple turns.

Good point TG!! And I've argued (politely of course) for a much stronger Attack & Defense ratings for SNLFs for some time now. They were one of the most unique Japanese Units in WWII. Their offensive and defensive effectiveness was way out of proportion to their size in numbers. I maintain that they should be one of the strongest non-armor units in HOF!!! I keep hoping that Eric will give into me on this one of these years!!!

- Japan is already half occupied by the US
- Italy has no way to bring her troops into action and has to sit and wait where England will start the next attack
- Germany has lost two important Armies in the last two turns plus a couple of Corps and is now facing an unstoppable Russian superiority of approx. 5 Armies to 1 and no time to rebuild the urgently needed defenses.
In short: I think the game is decided now. If this were a game of chess, I would resign now.

really like to fight out one last great battle.

cities"; the only way to ensure that would be to give them 0 attack factor,
and then the AI would never move them out of the city they were produced in.
One change is was thinking of making was to weaken the attack factors
of the Malaria/Dengue units but make them invisible instead.
SNLF - I think an attack factor of 4 very good for a unit of only 1200 men.
The reason the defense is so low is because as elite Japanese troops they
prefered to make suicidal attacks rather than defend fixed positions. If you
use them to attack 1 tile islands like Guam and Tarawa they will never
get eaten by bugs, because there are no bugs on those islands.

one of the few unit in the game that are airmobile , after they sieze
an airbase you can fly them home for re-deployment.
