Honestly, folks...

Homo Sapiens has succeeded in the evolutionary lottery, to the extent which it has, by being adaptable. So what if the sky falls? Do you expect the earth, indeed, your life, to remain eternally unchanging?
The year I was born, the population of the earth was just barely over 3 bllion humans. Today, a bit less than 40 years later, it is over twice that. I would suggest to you, that if you are so emotionally involved with the subject of free carbon, and so joyless about people, that you consider ways to drastically reduce the human contingent in our ecosystem.
But then, don't act all shocked, when your fellow humans tend to be a bit disagreeble about it...
