Hookergate

As I said, about half of the men involved were secret service, the other half were marines that were also part of the detail.

Do we know if the Marines were involved in it? I don't know all the details myself.

Being investigated, but news stories today and yesterday are saying 10 secret service agents and 11 marines are involved.

They said there were at least 20 women involved. So the numbers sound about right unless they wanted threesomes. Urhhh ok lets not go there.

I also find it amusing that this whole thing was over $47 dollars.

(When I said threesomes I meant two men per women given that certain people were lets say not willing to pay $47 dollars. *shudders*)

Because in Republicanland all bad things are the fault of the Democrats: It was the Democrats that created the Ebola virus and formed the Backstreet Boys.

The Backstreet Boys were an obvious ploy to convert our male youth to homosexuality, just as Hanson was converting our female youth to lesbians.

I didn't know the Russians were still so scary. It's cause that Putin guy wrestles bears, isn't it?

I thought it was the fact that they still have enough nukes to turn the entire Western hemisphere into glass, but whatever.

There are, but as already stated I doubt that covers the Secret Service.

Additionally, I haven't seen anything in the news saying whether or not the two involved were married or not. I assumed not, as that would be exactly the thing any muck racking reporter would drool over.

So as Mobboss pointed out the actions of these men would have left them open to blackmail.

I do not believe that there was any possibility of someone being black mailed into helping kill the president. But someone could have given up some more general information that may have been useful.

The important thing is not what happened in this incident but should it be such a problem. If you make prostitution and adultery a disciplinary offence in the US military you are guaranteeing that some people will put themselves in compromising positions.
Bring a group of prostitutes into what is in effect a military establishment should be a disciplinary offence because of the security and PR problems. But if a marine visits a prostitute out of uniform or commits adultery it should be nothing to do with the military except where it could effect security. So if you commit adultery or see a prostitute you have to inform security personnel if you have a certain level of security clearance .

Damn, this girl is a hottie. I can see how guys could get fired over her. I'll gladly trade my job for her. :)

It wasn't the girl, it was the money. If they'd paid up we probably wouldn't've heard about it.

And I have to say, I'd gladly give away all the U.S. state secrets for a night with that woman. :D It's a good thing I don't have a security clearance...

It appears it is all due to a secret service agent being blackmailed for $800 by the prostitute.

http://zeenews.india.com/news/world/sex-scandal-photo-of-colombian-escort-emerges_770847.html

The woman, who opted to remain anonymous, said she and one of the agents agreed the agent would pay her 800 dollars for sex at the hotel.

The next morning, when the hotel’s front desk called because the woman hadn’t left, the pair argued over the price.

In an interview in Colombia, she said the two argued after the agent initially offered to pay her about 30 dollars and the situation escalated, eventually ending with Colombian law enforcement involved. She said she was eventually paid about 225 dollars.

How is someone complaining to the police because you are refusing to pay for a service blackmail

It is a common trick. You agree on a lesser amount and afterwards the prostitute demands more or she makes a big scene about it. Why would anybody pay $800 in a foreign country for a legal prostitute? She likely couldn't make that much here.

The GDP per capital in Colombia is $10,200 compared to $48,300.

Do you think that only US prostitutes charge that much.

USA#1 is getting everywhere.;)

Well if you do some research you will find that $800 dollar is quite possible.

Yep. Pretty much along with a handful of other high-GDP countries with such absurdly repressive sex laws. Countries like Colombia with such low standards of living and plentiful legal prostitution? Not so much.

Take Germany, for instance, where the "flat rate" of €70 gets you unlimited drink, food, and sex between 10 AM and 4 PM at one club, and another has a discount price of €38.50.

The prices charged by prostitutes varies greatly.

She is a very lucky woman. All she has to do is have 13 customers per year to match the average GDP per capita of the country. Of course, nobody but a handful of people and some tourists make enough to supposedly be able to afford her services...

Colombia has a very wide income distribution so I assume there are enough to men to pay.

But the fake breasts etc will cost her as well and she can only work at that level so long.

Do you really think all the other secret service agents and marines paid such a ludicrous price for prostitutes in a country where it is completely legal? Or did they pay $30-50 like everybody else likely does?

I should imagine the price paid depended on how much they were controlled by their b---- or their brain.
