No coincidence! This guy was an insider, maybe he's one of the hijackers. He knew about this mother****in' ****! If he's still alive, trace him down. There are a few clues, but most can be found under the World Trade Center, in the black box. They took a long distant 747 on purpose. Those things are filled with kerosine, and everyone knew the WTC could withstand an impact of a 707, it was meant to be this way.......<br />The only speculation is the plane of Pittsburgh, undoubtly another attack was prevented by the pilot or someone else.......maybe it was heading for a Nuclear Power Plant? The FBI will surely investigate and determine the legitmacy of this claim, but my hunch is that it was just some religious fanatic who got lucky with a date. Think about how many wackos there are out there who are always "prophesying" some great calamity, usually with vague enough wording (such as this case) to apply to almost anything that could happen. Throw enough "prophecies" out often enough, sooner or later one will line up with an actual event. The conversation on that thread leads me to believe Xin had posted often before. It would be interesting to see how many of those prophecies came true in any sense.

This plan very easily could have been planned earlier than yesterday. If certain factors had not been in place, it could have been called off.

In any case, this guy is probably going to be found and questioned......even though its close to impossible that this individual had anything to do with it....

As Leowind says, generate enough so-called prophesies and make them sufficiently mystical and ambiguous and you'll strike home once every so often.

Let's assume for a moment that this guy is not linked to terrorism in any way. You have to ask yourself "WHY would this Xin creature want to say things like this?" I've worked in this kind of area and it seems such people tend to fall into one of four categories, depending on whether they are FAKE|REAL and SELFISH|SELFLESS. (Yes I'm assuming it is possible to be REAL because my own experience confirms this.)

(a) FAKE SELFISH = the manipulative fraud<br />(b) FAKE SELFLESS = the sincere idiot<br />(c) REAL SELFISH = the gifted egotist<br />(d) REAL SELFLESS = the prophet

If he has no terrorist links, it would seem Xin falls into categories (a), (b) or (c). But not (d), which would be the only useful thing to the rest of humanity.

To make little hints and boasts on a newsgroup is hardly going to stave off a disaster - it's no use to all the people that die. Only an appeal to authorities would do that.

But Xin doesn't want to stave off disaster. He actually WANTS the disaster to happen, because only then can he say "I told you so" and look "good" to his audience.

If that is true, let me ask you this: "Would you trust someone like that?"

The article, from "Der Spiegel", indicates the man responsible for those postings: John Patrick Ennis. He is a nut who randomly makes predictions like "Bill Clinton will die on the 13th, 1998", and when he was actually impeached on the 15th attests: "Isn't impeachment, after all, a perfect allegory for political death?" He began this hobby at the start of the nineties.

Ennis assumed the name "SOLLOG", an acronym meaning "Son of Light, Light of God". A famous legal clash transpired when he sued an irreverent Philadelphia journalist over libel, seeking ONE BILLION DOLLARS. The press loved it. In the end, however, God proved only mortal.

He has many pseudonyms, one of them being "Leo Phoenix". He is also very cryptic, and superficially reverses words. A sick individual extracting great satisfaction for tragedies such as these recent events, he is the man behind "XINEOHPOEL" - case closed.

The American FBI has been flooded with over 700 tips related to SOLLOG's alt.prophecies.nostradamus cynosure: "Xineohpoel". Will they incarcerate him? Who knows, but, according to the article, he's been in trouble in the past: drunk, he "unintentionally" assaulted a police officer in a vehicle, he made mail-bomb threats to journalists, he threatened Bill Clinton's life, etc. Sollog should be sequestered in a safe place, detached from the rest of humanity...

I agree with some of the other posters on this thread that it is just chance that these people are right. If I predict every single day that something big is going to happen the next day, then I will be able to say that I predicted whatever happened. This John Patrick Ennis guy sounds like one of those, with the suitable side behavior to go along with it. Its just like Nostradamus and the ancient Oracle of my namesake, who both made cryptic and vague "prophecies" that came true depending on how you interpret them.
