How did you choose your username?

[Louis XXIV]

I played the French in Civ2 (Don't ask me why, I was 10, I don't have a clue ). But I didn't think Louis XIV sounded cool enough. But, if I added another X it would be so much cooler. I usually used my own name, but, whenever I played as the French, I was always Louis XXIV. So, when I found out about Civ3, I decided to register as that name.

I only use the name on Civ3 sites, it wouldn't make sense anywhere else.

To be honest, I have never seen it. But I do think Amber Tamblyn is pretty cute. I have also noticed that an awful lot of really good TV shows don't last very long. I had to add the "of Arcadia" because "Eran" is an actual male name and thus somewhat common as a username in some parts. There is another "eran" here on CFC, although he has only 3 posts in 3 years.

My choosing was rather simple:
1) I´m chemist
2) My favorite film is Fight club
3) I´m running once a year at a marathon-relay (3:30 this year!) with my best friends

Now the explanation: In Fight Club there is this scene where Edward Norton runs in his underpants around trying to get to the building with the bomb (nearly the end of the Film) and he says: " I run until my blood turned into battery acid - and then I run further"- Thats exactly what I felt attending the first competition (and man, I love this feeling )

Interesting are there many Slavic Siouxs living in South Africa, I'd imagine you are somewhat unique? Original maybe not

When I first played Civ3 I had been surfing the net looking at the beliefs of the Celts and there Gods the Sidhe, I have an interest in all sorts of religions, not just the organised ones. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and everyone likes Celtic Swordsmen in Civ3 right?
