How did you choose your username?

I always go for Raisin Bran on every site I have to register.

I hate to have to choose a username specially when its already taken, for some reason no one chooses Raisin Bran as a username ... go figure!

I love eating Raisin Bran cereal too. :)

LOL your name cracks me up Raisin Bran.

I remember one of the first posts you made in Gen Discussions. Mainly, because of the name. I remember laughing and going wth? raisin bran? You had the C3 battleship icon for a long time. Then I seriously cracked up when I saw you switch it to the box of raisin bran. :goodjob:

Ziggy Stardust :)

Couldn't be arsed to write the full name every time I log in. every forum visit has a variation on Ziggy. I'd rather be just 'Ziggy' but that name is always allready taken.

When I signed up for this site I was having major problemds getting CIV 4 to run and 'blargh' was an expression of my frustration at the time.

That's another reason why I chose this in the first place. :)

Masquerouge is the hero of a French graphic novel, an excellent one at that. It's also very likely that it won't be taken when I register it online, and thus I tend to use it pretty much everywhere (even for my 401(k) plan  )

It comes from a legendary fantasy football/baseball genius and is short for BA's Massive Whompus. :hammer:

I liked the gaillic swordsmen in civ3 :p
Just think...if you simply give us Dancing Banana and we'll name one of our swordsmen after you.

A cross between El Dandy, a Mexican wrestler, and P Diddy the rapper. Don't ask me why I chose them cuz I've only seen El Dandy once and I can't stand Diddy. I use the same name in all forums.

My username is... weird to say the least, I have been using it online since sixth grade, I just havn't gotten around to changing it, because it doesn't really represent who I am, and seems kind of stupid to me these days. I can't even remember how I chose it, to tell the truth.

I lived in Alaska, and always got asked (online, by non-Alaskans) "Do you live in an igloo?"

My username was created as preemptive sarcasm.

I've always been accused of being incredibly cynical as far as I remember, though I'm not quite as bad as I used to be. I still generally assume the worst until proven otherwise though. The first forum I signed up to already had a user named Cynic, the cynical one, and most of the other obvious variations, so I eventually had to settle for MrCynical as about the closest unused name. Since then I've used the name on all the forums I sign up to.

ROFL, nice. :)

That's like, being from California, if I ever travel out of state people will always comment on earthquakes even though they're much more likely to die of their local natural phenomena (hurricane/lightning strike/tornado/flood).

They're jealous of your good weather and want to feel better by pointing out something bad there.

EDIT: Of course, they could always talk about prices :mischief:

 that's unreal, are people really that ignorant, not even innuits live in igloos any more, of course US citizens came from a culture that lived north of the arctic circle, that's why they would live in igloos, it all makes perfect sense, In Europe we still live in Igloos, why wouldn't you?;) :crazyeye:

Of course people are that ignorant. Heck, a few of them appeared credulous when I told them I had to leave my fridge door open in the summer so my place wouldn't melt.

Naturally, their identity was recorded and they'll be the first ones up against the wall when the revolution comes to town. :)

And @Shane - funny, they ask you Californians about earthquakes, but then are stunned into disbelieving silence when I tell them Alaska has earthquakes, too.

 There's a whole comedy act in there somewhere, here's me thinking they were just being deliberately senseless.

There aren't any countries in the world that don't experience Earthquakes, it's simply a matter of degree. For example some of the biggens were felt world to some degree or another, must be provincial hicks :D

Feel sorry fo England, we have had Earthquakes that nearly measured 3 on the Richter scale some people nearly spilt there tea, others were heard to decry by Jove is it judgement day already, I can't find my umbrella. My monocle has slipped of once or twice too in some of the heavier shakes;)

Stereotypes are fun.:D
