How do I add loyalty to a city?

Topic starter asked about city he founded, not captured.

Right, but it's only founded once. When he captures it when it flips, it would only have fifty points.

Invade the city that has foolishly built the Statue of Liberty. Then you can invade cities within 6 tiles with no loyalty problems whosoever

I've never actually done this, but it sounds awesome.

Yep, I think that is right, sorry about that!

I stand by my first point being the most important - check the city status panel and verify the +/- number before making any decision.
