How many desktop icons?

before my computer got whacked out and we had to reinstall windows (which cleared everything) I had about 55

None. The only icons that I allow are My Computer and Recycle Bin, and I keep them hidden. When it comes to the desktop, I'm a neat freak, but everything else is a mess.

4 right now at home. 20 on my work laptop. I use the quicklaunch a LOT but I still keep some things on the desktop.

Although I have 28 icons in my quick launch bar. It's where I keep most things. Except for games. I redesigned my start menu to give me quicker access to programs I consider important.

The family computer is awful, it has 4 or 5 columns of icons - just looks cluttered in my opinion. I prefer an empty-ish desktop, and I can still quickly access stuff with relatively no hassle Sometimes stuff I have downloaded will sit there till I clear it tho...

Here you go. Tell me if you find anything interesting, because I honestly don't know what all is on my desktop, besides that dancing lobster program my sister downloaded that I meant to delete, but never did.
