You shrunk the screenshot too much to tell what all the icons say...
Do you want me to enlarge it then? I just tryed to shrink it to a size that didn't involve scrolling.

Here you go.:) Tell me if you find anything interesting, because I honestly don't know what all is on my desktop, besides that dancing lobster program my sister downloaded that I meant to delete, but never did.

Not really since I don't really need to know what programs you have...

my home desktop is full of icons... mostly files for unfinished units, and shortcuts to various programs needed to make a unit, as well as files for the mod.

I have 9 icons, they are:
Internet Explorer
Sim City 2000
Recycle Bin
My ISP
Micrografx Picture Publisher
Civ 3 Conquests
A cellular Automata Program :cooool:
Sim City 4
Mozilla

Yep, it seems that simcity 2000 fans are fading away, so I have to stock up to make up for the non-users. ;)

My computer has a whopping 63 icons! Ironic, because it is only a few months old. My grandad, who runs this website has so many icons on his desktop they run off the screen. Boy he knows how to use all of a computers hard disk space!

The number of icons has nothing to do with hard drive space since most will probably be shortcuts anyway or reasonably small files...

Recently the IE icon disappeared from my desktop... I tried to get it back by going to the Customize Desktop section of the Display Properties and still can't get the icon back (even though the show IE icon is checked).

Any idea?

Right click on the desktop, and select "create shortcut". Go to where your iexplore.exe file is.

C:\progra~1\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

I know about the shortcut. It's different from the original IE icon though. With the original icon, you can right click on it, and select "properties" to get to the Internet Options page. It's a quick way to delete Temp Internet Files.

I have an IE icon in the Quick Launch area.

Now I just created a shortcut to the Internet Options icon from the Control panel... same effect... :)
