How many hours do you currently have it Civ7, and how many do you have, or did have in Civ6, or Civ5 if you didn't play Civ6.

I'm at 260 in Civ7, and i had over 4,000 in Civ6 prior to 7s release, i didn't play 5.

Civ 5 - 1300, actually just started it up again with the VP collection mod
Civ 6 - 4150 favorite since 4 (which I probably played the most)
Civ 7 - 20 started with early access and then gave up. Just wasn't fun and hated the UI, transition periods, and just guessing what to do.
I pre purchased it also, but after playing it for a few weeks i took a break to wait for some patches, started back a few weeks ago and i'm enjoying the new mechanics and graphics, still needs some patches but i'm looking forward to see what comes with future patches and DLC.

I didn't like the changing eras initially but they have grown on me. There's some excellent UI mods available if you're playing on PC.

Civ 4 - unknown, but it's gotta be over 3000. Maybe 4000.
Civ 5 - 7 (bought it six months ago on sale, started one game, can't get into it)
Civ 6 - 1560
Civ 7 - I just hit 400.

Also, if I had to guess, I probably played Civ I for 250 hours or so using a Super Nintendo emulator. I never had Civ 2, and I recently picked up Civ 3 for 99 cents on Steam, but haven't logged any meaningful playtime.

Civ 5 - 4000
Civ 6 - 7000
Civ 7 - 400 (so far)

Played 5 and the first 4000 hours or so of 6 on my old Intel iMac, then got a separate gaming PC that allowed me to play really big maps for the first time and got a whole new lease on my Civ 6 life. Also spent at least the last 2000 hours or so working through a bucket-load of Mods that changed much of the game and kept me experimenting with whole new configurations of Civ 6. We'll see in the next few years if Civ 7 Mods and DLCs can sustain as much interest . . .

Civ 5: 705
Civ 6: 2610
Civ 7: 113

4 is unknown, but it's probably at least as much, if not more than 6. Will be curious to see how long it takes 7 to surpass 5 for my total hours, probably will end up being about 2 years.

This would require me to check but from memory and simply guessing.

2Gold...500ish (cut short because III came out soon after I got II)
III: probably 2000
IV: Probably 4-5000 (Peak high school/university infinite gaming time)
V: 500 (Starting to lose gaming time also didn't like 5 so much)
VI: 900 ( despite having way way less free time)
VII: Why are we counting 3 months in? I'd have to go check, maybe 100 already, would be higher but I stopped to catch up on my game pass backlog, will go back after I finish Doom , which I haven't started yet until I wrap Clair Obscur.

0. The game looks absolutely trash in its current state, with way too many things being wrong with it compared to what's right with it.

Civ 6 some 3000 I think, 800 or so in civ 5.

Fair enough, but personally i am very much enjoying playing it, even more so since the 1.2.0 patch.

320h or so in Civ VII, and this number will keep going up as I'm enjoying the game. Had some 3200h in VI. I don't have stats for any of the older ones, and I've been playing civ games since 1993.

Older games (Civ IV, Alpha Centauri): No idea, probably not much more than 100 hours
Civ V: 1300 hours
Civ VI: 350 hours
Civ VII: 225 hours

Certainly VII is well on track to blow by VI. I have noticed it seems common for Civ V lovers who weren't as into VI to prefer the new game over that one too. Definitely applies to me.

Civ 1 - probably 1000 hours
Civ 2 - probably 2000 hours
SMAC - probably 500 hours
Civ 3 - probably 500 hours
Civ 4 - probably 1000 hours
Civ 5 - 2000+ hours
Civ 6 - 6500+ hours
Civ 7 - 700+ hours
