How to Remove Zone of Control from a Unit

Hey fellow modders:

Does anybody know if there is a way to remove "zone of control" from a particular unit, so that it no longer exerts zone of control on other units? I've looked everywhere for the answer, but I'm not sure which file to edit or what value to change for this purpose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All combat units exert a ZoC. Only way to change this would be to modify the DLL. (Best way to do that would be to create a new promotion attribute "No ZoC", mod the DLL to look for that in the pathfinding code, then create a new promotion in XML/SQL with that attribute set, then finally grant that promotion to the unit(s) you don't want to exert a ZoC)

Thanks for the response, Whoward. I'm not sure what you mean by "pathfinding code" or "mod the DLL to look for that." It sounds complicated lol
