So far I've managed a couple of CIV IV victories. One of them at warlord level and the other at noble level. Both of them were wins by building the spaceship.
I'd like to try something different and really want to try a war based victory where I can dominate every other civ. It would be especially nice if I could make a holy theme out of it.
Does anyone have some strategies I should look at employing, wonders to build etc? Also starting race. I'm considering one of the khans, but I'm leaning towards a spiritual and expansionistic leader.
Should I use my workers to build lots of forts? I haven't found much benefit in them to date. Should I try and ramp up my science quickly to lead me to a few strong units and wage an earlier domination campaign, or wait until the last 150 turns or so and try something more advanced from a military perspective.
Any thoughts appreciated.
