I can't seem to download attachments anymore, it opens a window for me to save 'attachment[1]' instead of the file...what do I do?

If you know the attachment is a zip file, rename it to "attachment.zip". Likewise for .sav files, or any other types of files.
If you *don't* know what kind of file it is, you will have a bit more trouble.
As to why you are having this problem, I don't know, but I have heard of it before.

I had a similar problem, the download option was just gone and flushing the cache helped.
