Good thing: The apartment is MUCH MUCH BIGGER

Bad thing: It is more expensive, so we might not be able to afford it,Mom is working out the math to see if we can.. Plus if we can afford it, we'll have to keep doing the flyers

I was in a similar predicament a year ago.

Good thing: Much bigger apartment.

Bad things: No friends around. Not one but three graveyards less then a 150 meters from my house. Buses crowded with old dying people who take up all the seats on the bus. (IMO they should be turned into Soylent Green upon arrival)

@Cleric

What's wrong with graveyards near your house? I like having one near mine.
It's quiet, peaceful, with birds, trees, and rabbits running around. It's a nice place to take a walk. I'd much rather have that than more apartments and people.

As for the old people, just remember, they'll be your neighbors soon. ;)

if you need to work a bit for a bigger and better life style, that is ok.
working teaches good values.

and there is nothing wrong with graveyards near your home, but i see your point.
could be creepy to some folks.
personaly i love  gardens situated in graveyards.
kinky, i know, but it really nice to have a cool brew perched on a tombstone.

bottom line, if you can afford it (via the extra work) i think its worth it.
if you cant afford it, its better to stay in a smaller place than owe the bank money.
i know.
been there, and im darned if im going back!

Because of the excellent motivation the sheer terror of zombies chasing you provides, or what? :run:

Did some math... can't afford it. :'(

We were looking at another place

Good: It's one half of a duplex, and a good size.
Bad: It's wayyyyyy out of town

Bad: It's wayyyyyy out of town

How in the world is that a bad thing? It's what is prompting me to move from here to here in a couple of months. It's getting way too citified around here, with the town probably hitting 15,000 by the next census. Depressing given it was under 5,000 in 1990.

Wow 15,000 that's almost like 15 thousand people. That's just too crowded.

It's bad 'cos mom goes to town every day at like 3 am.. to deliver newspapers... yes 3 am...

LOL, theres a place for rent across the street from the daily news office... :)
