Comin' From Where I'm From, the last Album of Anthony Hamilton sold by Arista, a BMG disc company had a "terrible" cd protection and anticopy built in. Actually a university graduate, John Halderman, just found out that if you press the shift key when inserting the cd, windows prevents the anticopy protection from autorunning... No comment
I'm pretty sure that BMG will be glad to learn that :D Lot of money spent to develop a program that can be bypassed using a single key :D

Of course, the damage control is already starting:
"This is something we were aware of," BMG spokesman Nathaniel Brown said. "Copy management is intended as a speed bump, intended to thwart the casual listener from mass burning and uploading. We made a conscious decision to err on the side of playability and flexibility."

i found that with one of my cds with copy protection, Windows Media Player of all things could copy it to WMA form (which is horrible), and then you can find a converter to turn that into MP3.
