What do you call 'em? Po-tay-to, or po-taw-to? (Plus an "other" option!)

The options are "potatoe" spelled phoneticlally.

Personally I pronounce it po-tay-to. Po-taw-to is a horrid bastard-child pronunciation.

Honestly, Does anyone actualy say po-taw-to or tom ow do? I think the whole song is a massive injustice to the English language and demonstrates a baltent disreguard for the truth. I think that might stem from the fact that this is an educated community that usually doesn't bastardize a pronounciation.

but if i for some reason happen to talk about them in english i would say po-tay-to.

I say the first on for potato and the second one for tomato. I always thought the middle of each was either said ay or ar, not aw as you have got in this thread and poll.
