If you could ask one specific question, what would it be?

As per my thread about modding, will I still be able to use the original French trait (and the original Eiffel tower effects) when modding or is the code for these being removed?

My question would be;
Have multiplayer been fixed yet? (AIs cant contact humans, cant play custom maps, constant disconnects/out of synchs, etc)

BTW, I'm going to take a stab at "specific" questions based on already revealed information:

What does the International Space Station Wonder do?
What does the Impi replace (we've seen some conflicting info)?
How do you become a civ that can propose resolutions to the World Congress?
If you pillage a Portuguese Feitoria, would that be an act of war?

"What is your favorite currently unrevealed Civ, and why?

:p

all is good and I only would have one question to ask....have you improve the battle for the AI?
because is still kinda irrational in g&k

They are inevitably going to say yes and you are inevitably going to be disappointed because the AI can never be as good as a human player

One I know they wouldn't answer before the expansion's release date, but I'd ask anyway;

"Any chance for some DLC Civs after Brave New World?"

You know... "only" seven to go and then the magical 50th would be reached. ;)

Top question! Hope they fill some other gaps ;).

Here's a specific one:

Can we know what new City States will be appearing in Brave New World, as well as the total number of city states for each category. That is, will the 10-10-10-6-6 ratio for the Mercantile, Maritime, Cultural, Militaristic and Religious city state numbers been maintained, or has it been changed?

Any screenshots of these new city states will be greatly appreciated and even snippets of their civilopedia entries.

Will 9 new civs including one from DLCs like Spain in G&K or it will be 9 completely new civs?

They answered this in the initial press release. Just like Gods & Kings it will have 9 entirely new civilizations, Spain seems to have been chucked in for the scenario (as number 10).

I want to know what they've done to ensure that the late game is more relevant and lasts longer. They've certainly added more stuff to the late game but from what we've seen the tech tree hasn't changed any, just new things added to old techs. If science players can still just skip through to the Information Era once they've reached Plastics then all this neat stuff would be irrelevant.

This. Up to Medieval lasts 100-120 turns, Renaissance 30, Industrial 30, and the rest of the game lasts roughly 30-60 depending on Great Scientist buildup. Only a combination of nerfing science multipliers and improving the AI's technological prioritization (so late-game wars and all these new toys happen at equal tech at lower difficulty levels) would be likely to extend the meaningful late game. Pre-Education, without an OP civ or natural wonder, it is very easy to pace the game, because it is entirely linked to population growth, which is hard to "game," but after universities and Free Thought, the pacing is wacky.

Is Japan going to be affected in any way by the expansion pack?

2nd choice: How many Sub-Saharan African civs will be in the Scramble for Africa scenario?

Some terrible questions so far.

I'd ask: How many of the unrevealed civ leaders have moustaches?

:D

"What are the passwords to those Civilization V betas on Steam?"

But more seriously, I would ask, "How many policies/tenets would the average player expect to get over the course of a game?"

Thanks for your questions everyone! Keep them coming. Just popping in to let you know that I am reading them. :D

Oh, cool - didn't realize you'd be culling questions from here as well! In that case I've got a few.:)

Will there be any way to stop another civ from setting up an international trade route with you?
Are there any changes with city-state interactions resulting from the new tourism and ideology mechanics?
Will ideological tenets be unlocked differently than normal social policies? Edit: Answered by recent screenshots as "no".
What makes the penalty for switching ideologies "small" as has been described?
Will the Great Merchant's special ability be changing?
