My friend was making his cell phone run out of battery the other day, and I tried it, and I was wondering if I was just shocking my taste buds are poisoning them with deadly acid.

this kinda takes me back,when i was a kid i was spoiled rotten with toys

but i had more fun with those 9 volt (i think) batteries,the square ones,than i had with some of the toys that the batteries were in!

im pretty sure its electricity,cause when i licked the round ones nothing happened!

Indeed I have.

Also when I was model launching rockets I used to have a simple circuit rigged up with two D batteries and a push button I bought from the store. This was meant to attach to the ends of the igniters, push the button and WHOOSH, the rocket launches.

I got a kick out of touching the two wires to my tongue and then pressing the button - gives you a little jolt.
