Igor's LeaderHeads

Thanks a lot, what I'm doing now is trying to edit the attire that Igor made him with to look a bit more Turkic/Mongolian too, which was what I had in mind when I retextured him and added the helmet, so I'm glad you like the way the texture looks. He'll look a lot better with the body, which is going to be a combination of what Igor created the first time around and, well I'm not quite sure how to put this, "Gengis Khan with money." You'll see, I think everyone will like it. I think he just needs a good BG at this point and it should be ready for release in the next couple of days.

Capo, before releasing it add shaders!

Don't worry Igor, I'm going to send him to you and let you release it. It's your LH, and I'm generally sticking to what you had before anyway.

Alright, here is what I have done with Tamerlane. If you want I could send you just these files, or I could pull the NifSwap or whatever you want.

I was sort of thinking of retexturing his sword a bit and adding a tassle, but all of that is up to you. Let me know what you want me to do with this and I'll do it. :goodjob:

Could you do something about the scale armor that sticks out above the collar plate? It's kind of distracting and takes away from the rest of the look.

I could, except I already finished up to this point, and that would require me to go back and edit the shirt collar (which is not attached to the rest, so I'd have to extend it and mend it properly), then I'd have to edit out the scales and stuff and that would require a lot of work. If Igor wants to he can do all of that or if he really needs me to do I can do it, but I don't really have time to do it right now, so its up to him.

EDIT: This is Igor's LH. All I really did was change the helmet, sleeves and retexture. It uses the same basic premise that Igor had on his LH I just removed the bulky cape and replaced it with the Gengis Khan pads so the helmet didn't clip with the cape. You can't tell from the angle of the screenshot, but his ears stick out a little bit too. I want to let Igor finish it up and shaderize it and ultimately post it.

Capo, you really messed it up with your .tga files! How do I fix this now? When I view it in Nifskope and in Blender everything is visible, but in the game this is what I get! I already imported, exported and nifswapped it a couple of times, but still nothing! Anybody knows how to fix this? If you need the files I can upload them.

All right, forget about what I just said! I added shaders and all the textures now appear in the game. This is weird, but... well, it works! So, Tamerlane is ready, I'll just add xml and upload it.

Yeah, I apparently have no idea how to use this new Blender because I keep :):):):)ing :):):):) up. Anway, why didn't you use one of the BGs I sent you?

1. Two of the files seem to be corrupted.
2. This is not Timur's BG, it is Hannibal's. I always use the original BG when I test LHs and only then when and if everything works I look for a suitable BG.

yeah thta happens when you do a nonshader to shader nif. its in my guide. fortunatley with shaders it appears to be easier to fix.

I'm glad it happened 'cause now I will know about this and I won't get mad if it happens again.

I haven't played normal Civ for a while now, but i don't think, that Tamerlane looks like Saladin. Maybe he does, but then i can't notice it :D.
Goodjob :goodjob:.

It is Hannibal!!!!! It is actually good that it reminded me of Saladin and not Hannibal. The Capo did a great job with his face.

Okay this is a bit embarassing to admit but I think I have been exporting the nifs incorrectly. So if you want to try it out go ahead and open the last blend (its either LastBlend or LatestBlend or something) and try to export it with the correct options selected.

I am about to find out if this is right or if I just don't know what I am doing in a few minutes...
