I played the alpha till the pay wall came up

Oh, well there is still a free trial version that is basically what you had before the pay wall. The paid version is very much worth it.

I'll stick me to 1980s versions of the future that involve stompy death robots and don't deal well with using math or physics.

I like the looks on the faces of the muppets.

But I'm going to resist playing the game. Though at least it's not a straight shoot stuff to death thing.

It is not a shoot anything game. No shooting, just peaceful planetary exploration with occassional death due to 'accidental' launchpad explosions.

Yes. It looks good. Just that I waste far too much time as it is. Still maybe I'll watch some more videos. That generally seems to be an effective way of getting over any fascination with games.
