NADTA (North American Defense and Trade Alliance) is an organization like NATO aimed to protect the the entire New World (not just NA, as some Euros think) from imperial encroachment. We are currently in a cold war against ANTIEDO, which are European nations hellbent on colonizing whatever they want, whenever they want. We've been trying to get them out of America, one colony at a time, starting with Byzantine Brazil, which are Europeans who fled Turkey once the Byzantine Empire collapsed to set up a new new Roman Empire in Brazil.

Speaking about Byzantine Brazil...

We declare war on them.

To all NADTA states, does this aggressive action fall under your treaty obligations? We'd rather avoid a world war, but we have our own treaty commitments to protect the Byzantines, regardless of where they are now located.

We are ready to call all ANTIEDO states to the table for war, but we hope that the New Englanders stop the war before it is too late and conflict ends up engulfing all of the world.

Speaking of ANTIEDO members... it has become apparent that we must broaden our horizons.

Unless there are objections, I believe we shall settle this with plurality, rather than simple majority, due to the fact that no name has been able to secure a majority.

You're no longer in Europe, ANTI EDO is a European def. organization meant to protect European colonial interests around the globe.

I will send you up to 100,000 apostates/homosexuals (Or as many as you want, whichever is less) if you agree to do this and take my side.

I will not negotiate with the Secular Brazilian rebels, they are not a soverign state. If you do not help and the NADTA do, I will have to accept their help.

I will negotiate on most matters, but Brazil belongs to me. I ask all nations to recognize me as the only legitimate Brazilian state.

Scotland awoke to an interesting international situation, as the world seemed to be mobilising in response to percieved New England aggression in South America. The situation was muddied somewhat as it turned out New England was waging war on a Byzantium Brazil that didn't technically exist. Previously the Brazilian Government, made up of several officials from a Byzantium Empire that could maintain a dozen super carriers yet not it's own government had claimed central, then later north-east Brazil.

Scottish ministers are yet to comment. It is believed the Scottish parliament has been shut down for the day as PM's are unable to control their laughter...

ANTIEDO - Marian Federation, France, Germany, Macedon, Byzantine Brazil

We will give 24 hours for this dispute to be ended before commencing offensive operations, unless we are attacked first. We hope the world regains its sanity and stops this bloodbath before we all drown in it.

We also formally ask Britain to join ANTIEDO's side if a war fully breaks out, as it is obvious that if ANTIEDO falls, NADTA will finally carry out its threats of a Falklands War.

We would ask the rest of Europe to assist in pushing NADTA out of Europe in any conflict, as well; if NADTA defeats ANTIEDO, their imperialist leadership will surely de facto annex the Neo Incan provinces, causing a shift in the balance of power that will allow them to focus on Europe as a whole.
