KOREA SEIZED
The Chinese Civil, which has waged since 1721, is ultimately complete. Ming forces, aided heavily by the Great Bulgarian Empire, has defeated Qing forces in Korea. While there is still a substantial naval threat posed by Qing loyalists at sea, the Ming Empire has gained supremacy in its sphere in light of growing problems in Sweden.
The fall of Qing Korea is the largest battle the post-1720 world has seen thus far.
OTHER NEWS
SEVENTEEN EIGHT-FOUR. Buenos Aires, United Provinces of America. The UPA has taken a hardline against foreign merchants redirecting the country’s trade to foreign centers of trade. This stance has forced the Caliphate to rethink her trade policy in South America, but the Kingdom of France has continued diverting trade backwards to Seville.
SCRAMBLE FOR NORTH AMERICA. Guatemala City, Kingdom of France. The rise of the Neo-Roman Empire in the American West and Pirate Lords in the Caribbean has racketed up tensions in North America, especially in light of the death of the King of Great Britain. In Mexico, the Sultanate of Cordoba has found her mercenaries fighting and losing against their French and Bulgarian counterparts in Sonora and Veracruz, while in North America the Pirate Lords have defeated the British for supremacy in the Midwest.
Guatemala City and Maracaibo have become the major centers of trade in the Americas, with the initial ascendancy of Buenos Aires being cut short by the machinations of Egyptian merchants.
GOLD IN THE HILLS. Warsaw, Kingdom of Poland. In Poland and Bulgaria, gold has been found in the troubled border regions in the Middle East. These gold deposits, and the output of which, are valued highly throughout the world, giving Polish and Bulgarian merchants a significant edge over their rivals.
