Imperium Offtopicum - UN Building

In the interests of world neutrality and pacifism in general, I vote for the maintenance of Panama's neutrality.

I don't know if it's already been counted, but I vote for my claims on Alaska.

The other ones I abstain from, as I see no need to endanger my neutrality by getting involved someone else's territorial interests.

If you seriously and honorary go by your word and not intervene in mainland Maryland, we'll vote YES. Now, I expect your word to be followed, as well. Make Panama an official case.

We now vote NO on the Marian issue, for them not living up on their side of the deal.

I kept my word that we shall not intervene in Maryland proper...

By "make Panama an official case", did you mean I should support you in your claims? I assumed you wanted me to get to registering the issue so that the entire UN could vote on it.

If you support everyone else's claims in exchange for them supporting your own, you still technically remain neutral, by supporting everyone. ;) It's a surefire way to safely expand, as well!

Submit a map of what parts of Alaska you want, as well, please.

I'll claim Vermont, it wasn't part of the original 13 anyway

You may not be able to use claims court to acquire it, buuuut...

Might makes right! If you can manage to get enough luck on your side, you just might be able to reach it and take it for yourself. ;)

Unfortunately, the USA doesn't have any intentions of going overseas(i.e. harassing your islands and Africa), so the terms of our treaty won't come into effect. :(

However! You certainly have my moral support, and I wish you luck in whenever they attack!

Have you found any non-playing members to roll two die for you, one representing the enemy and the other your own forces?

Don't play stupid on me.

CRUD!

I must have forgotten about that little part...

Nnn.... a neutral canal to allow shipping regardless of political climate, or supporting an American-occupied canal in exchange for gaining more of an edge on the Islands issue...

Choices!

INCORRECT!

Vermont was part of New York, but later became its own state.

INCORRECT!

Vermont's status was up in the air with various people making claims, Vermont it's self never recognised these claims and declared Independence before accepting it's invitation to become a state.

Certainly!

LibrulRepublikofPacifica-proposal.jpg

This is my proposal: Red is land I own, Maroon is land I am asking for. I am perfectly willing to give CCCP the rest of Alaska, along with its valuable oil fields.

My main interest is the protection of the seas that make up a vital portion of our fishing and crabbing industry.

Also: If my border drawing is incorrect, I apologize. It's just a rough sketch based on the official map in the main thread.

I vote Yes on Plasma weaponry, yes on Pacifistan's and Marian Empire's claims

Shouldn't the parties not be able to vote?

The Southern DysUtopia takes the following stances:

Case I:
For Byzantine Republic

Claims Court Case I:
Abstain

Claims Court Case II:
FOR

Claims Court Case IV:
FOR

(Special) Claims Court Case V:
FOR DEMILITARIZATION

Claims Court Case VI:
FOR

Shouldn't the parties not be able to vote?

Arguably, yes, but since they're likely to just add one vote each to each side, it doesn't really impact the final decision. ;)

So then:

Tanicius: I will vote for your claims if you vote for mine (if that doesn't do it, I may be tempted to vote in favor of plasma as I feel the outcome of this vote may set a precedent that is crucial for your interest to have fanciful weapons as well)

I'd be willing to settle out of court with CCCP as well. As I said before, my claims only pertain to the southernmost extent of Alaska. You'd be getting most of Alaska, and my boats will have stop off points and adequate protection from pirates, etc. Everyone would be happy, right?

Sounds good! I'll put you down in favor of plasma and other advanced(but not WMD-esque) weaponry, and my claims on the islands, in exchange for my support of your claims on Alaska? :)

We'll see the outcome of the two rival cases for Alaska, and go from there. :)

Agreed.

Just to make it official:
Yes for Tanicius Claims
Yes for Advanced Weaponry

We'll see the outcome of the two rival cases for Alaska, and go from there. :)

In that case, I extend an offer to CCCP as well. I will vote for your claims if you vote for mine (given the proviso that your claims are amended so as not to interfere with mine)

I obviously vote YES on my claims, although I think that happens automatically.
