You're claiming five provinces and in the name of good borders I can't allow you to have Riga.

Fixed it. And I'm sorry these are the provinces I'm claiming and it is the farthest north I'm going.

As the PAU is not subject to UN rulings, it matters nought.

The NWU has yet to comply with PAU requests. The twenty-four clock will continue to tick down. The NWU has eleven hours to comply.

We will accept inspection, provided it is overseen by a neutral party. We urge the PAU to extend the ultimatum to allow further consideration of this.

How dare the Americans slander us with such baseless accusations. Do they honestly believe that we, the vanguard of UNVIFOR, the tireless advocates of human rights, would be so stupid as to sacrifice our hard-fought moral standing for a quick kill when Japan has been in retreat for months? Our conscience is clear, and Jerusalem can state with full sincerity that it had no hand in the incident in Japan, which, while genuinely abhorrent in its scale, has as-of yet no verified perpetrator. Furthermore, we note that the Empire of Japan is a nation known to be pursuing weapons of mass destruction, indeed the only known WMD-capable state, and given its government's utter disregard for human life combined with its faltering campaign, it is not inconceivable that the massacre was a false flag operation intended as a last-ditch attempt to sully international resolve. After all, how else could such an attack be conducted at so wide a scale with such efficiency, and why were military installations completely unaffected?

In any event, we demand an official apology from the Pan-American Union for this unwarranted insult.

Failure to comply will be construed as a declaration of war by the NWU against the PAU. Should it come to this, we will make sure all members of the NWU government who approved of the chemical program will be put on trial for war crimes and attempted crimes against humanity.
How droll, the Americans, so quick to excuse confirmed Japanese war crimes against their own citizens and abandon their commitment to the United Nations in pursuit of a selfish so-called sovereignty. But should a neighbour state be merely suggested of supporting the war against Japan, suddenly they grow a conscience! The Pan-American Union claimed its withdrawal from the international community was motivated by political neutrality, but as its bloody expansion into Mexico proves, such peaceful aspirations are empty rhetoric. Thus we cannot say we are surprised by its decision to demonize its northern neighbour with the unfounded accusation that it is hosting a chemical weapons programme sponsored by the United Arab Republic, when there is no diplomatic relationship, indeed, no embassy between Jerusalem and Vancouver. What better way to justify the unilateral annexation of a pesky sovereign state while smearing the moral standing of the international community than propagating a conspiratorial link between the Northwestern American Union and the United Arab Republic, despite its root claim concerning the incident in Japan contradicting our behaviour throughout the entire war?

We support a UN-sponsored official investigation into Vancouver's alleged activities. If the PAU seeks the truth, and not a territory grab, we know it will agree.

Archduchess Claudia Hapsburg has made a surprise announcement calling for peace in the Far East after the tragic loss of life in mainland Japan. The Archduchess called for a joint session to negotiate an end to the war between all belligerent parties, and has suggested Dublin, Ireland as a neutral meeting ground to meet upon.
The United Arab Republic agrees wholeheartedly. Our mission is not the destruction of Japan, only the dismantling of its illegitimate government. While we have no issue with a summit in Dublin, we do advise Germany that Ireland is a belligerent in the present war.

Cargo ships full of supplies, escorted by a few Roman ships, all painted bright purple (:p) to make it obvious that its us, will be on route to Tokyo.
Expect rigorous screening entering the Canal.

48) HOLD THE LINE: Judges considered not even mentioning this film due to how utterly atrocious it was. Many are comparing it to Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing: The Movie in sheer awfulness. The acting was more wooden that wood and the judges were felt feeling confused as to whether it failed at being so bad it was funny or whether it was actually taking itself seriously.
Damn, and I was considering writing an actual script for that. :p

... we almost never use the Suez. we go around Gibraltar. and either go to the Panama, around Africa, or around south America. sorry, but relations between our two nations aren't too great by Roman reckoning.

Deliberately avoiding the Suez to deliver "humanitarian aid" to the Japanese, I see. In fact, you seem to be going out of your way to deliver these "supplies" directly to the Japanese. That's not suspicious at all.

whoops. kinda made myself suspicious doing that, eh? oh well, even if i were shipping military equipment, it wouldn't be that beneficial. all it contains is humanitarian supplies. particularly food and medication. i suppose one could use it to benefit the military instead of the civilians, but... that's their choice.

Fair enough. We'll hold you to your word that your shipment only contains humanitarian supplies, though.

We request that the Humanitarian shipment does indeed travel around Africa and docks in Mozambican ports for screening.
As a neutral collection of nations, we can determine the nature of the shipment quite well, without bias.

That is a fair request. Germany approves of this arrangement.

This is utter nonsense. Why would we kill 1/4 of our population? The damage done to the economy and the manpower available for military use far outweighs any positive diplomatic success.

Japan has already send a peace proposal to UAR, but they have not replied:

Japan, while being defeated in China, still has the best navy in the world and a huge air force to support the Japanese navy. However, considering the recent losses in population, we would like to make peace. Our only terms are:

1) The Japanese Home Islands, Taiwan and Okinawa will not be occupied and will remain part of the Japanese State.

2) The Emperor Iwao and Shogun Takeshi Ruchang will not be forced to abdicate or be persecuted.

Cough:

The United Arab Republic will not negotiate peace on behalf of anything less than the entire coalition.

Five words.

You know that this does not matter, because it is from an other IOT, right? I take it that you have not replied, because I do not recognize this argument as IC.

It's a little unsettling that the UN is not trying to negotiate peace right now.

Why is it unsettling? Maybe the UN enjoys a good show. Just like Gangnam does.

It's a little unsettling that the UN is not trying to negotiate peace right now.

Of course they do not want peace. They want the utter destruction of Japan. They do not even make a pretense of wanting to negotiate peace with Japan. The UN has shown it's true face, first by killing of 20,000,000 people and then refusing any offer of peace while labeling the Japanese as "imperialists".

The United Arab Republic will not negotiate peace on behalf of anything less than the entire coalition.

When Japan made the peace offer, it was to the entire coalition, not just UAR. We've sent it to you, since UAR is the leader of the coalition.

It's a little unsettling that the UN is not trying to negotiate peace right now.

The PAU officially condemnds all forces involved in the UNIFVOR coalition. The Japanese are seeking a peaceful out and have given fair terms, yet the Arab imperialists seek to continue the war. This farce has gone on long enough for the UAR's facade of being a humanitarian champion to reveal its inherintely imperialist nature.

You condemn us as not valuing peace when we left the corrupt institution of the United Nations, yet you reject peace when it is offered to you.

It's a little unsettling that the UN is not trying to negotiate peace right now.
Germany said it wants to host a summit, and so far I'm the only person who's acknowledged it.

Seriously, guys.

Japan would like to inform the world, that in a private discussion, Japan has agreed to Chinese demands of handing over Taiwan as part of a possible peace treaty. Gangam has also expressed interest in peace if China makes peace with Japan. So far, only UAR has not commended on our offer.
