OT: Hello again. This is Ōkubo Toshimichi for the TV 7 News. Our latest news in titles are:
The War in China: Interview with Marshall Toyotomi Hideyioshi
Interview with Prime Minister Takeshi Ruchang
OT: So, let's begin with the War in China. How is the offensive going?
KK: Welcome everyone. Now, about the offensive, it goes very well. The Japanese Forces are made up of Five Army Groups (Army Groups I, II, III, VII and IX) of the Imperial Japanese Mainland Army (IJMA), supported by one Army Group of the Imperial Japanese Army (Army Group V), twelve Marine Corps, twenty Armored Brigades, six Battleships and three Carriers carrying over thirty Fighters and twenty Bombers.
The Air Force has been bombarding the forces of Sun Ce, as well as Power Stations, military bases and HQ and economic centers for more than two weeks, and now that the land offensive has begun, the army finds little resistance. It seems that the army of Sun Ce is so shattered by the bombardment campaign, that it has lost it's will to fight. Japanese Marines have secured most of the ports and coastal cities, while the main invading force is spearheaded by the twenty Armored Brigades, which have driven far inside the enemy territory and are now crushing the enemy forces. The losses are so far 20,000 dead or injured for the Chinese side and 1,000 casualties, mostly injured, for the Japanese.
OT: Good analyses. Thank you. Now, we have the honor to interview Marshall Toyotomi Hideyioshi (TH). Mr. Toyotomi Hideyioshi has been a very successful General and was the one who planned all the offenses of the Japanese army in China, as well as the current operation. So, we are very pleased that we have the honor to interview such a great man.
Marshall Toyotomi Hideyioshi:
TH: Thank you for your kind words.
OT: Now, the first question is what is the current situation in the front?
TH: The enemy forces are shattered and our army has driven far into enemy territory. Most of the enemy soldiers surrender and only few decide to resist, but those are easily forced into submission. Our armed forces are close to completely crushing the army of Sun Ce. Sun Ce himself, according to our intelligence, is running for his life and tries to find refuge in Europe. The enemy is collapsing.
OT: It is good to hear that. What conclusions have you made from this military operation?
TH: The main conclusion is that the Japanese army in China has become a well-oiled military machine that can crush any enemy. Our men are highly trained, very well equipped, with high morale, enthusiasm, and are very motivated and fearless. Japan right now has the best army in the world.
OT: Last question: Do you plan any new operations in China.
TH: Sorry, cannot answer this question.
OT: Very well. Thank you for your interview.
TH: You are welcome.
OT: Now, we are going to interview an other great man, the Prime Minister of Japan, Mr Takeshi Ruchang (TR).
Mr Takeshi Ruchang:
OT: Mr. Takeshi Ruchang, thank you for coming here.
TR: It is my honor that I am here.
OT: Thank you for your kind words. Now, the first question is about Japan's foreign policy and it's intervention in Vietnam. Do you believe that Japan is being isolated?
TR: Japan is the victim of an international conspiracy led by UAR. With the excuse of dubious evidence, which are unproved, UAR and it's allies try to suspend Japan from the UN. Japan was the first nation to intervene in Vietnam in order to ease the pain of the Vietnamese people, and yet UAR and it's allies portray Japan as an imperialist power. This is totally unacceptable!!
OT: My second question concerns Japan's economy. Do you think that the investments of Japanese companies in China and Vietnam will boost the Japanese economy?
TR: Of course. The investments in China will surely give a rise to the Japanese economy, allow a rise in the money spend of the welfare of the Japanese citizens and will also increase the international standing of Japan.
OT: Thank you for coming here. So, with this, we end our News. We will see you in 6 hours again. Until then, have a nice day.
