First off, I created this topic in Civ 6 General Forums, because it concerns a Wonder in the Game. (Mato Tipila, aka Devil's tower,) rather then Off topic, so I apologize if this was not the best place.

Moderator Action: This post is nothing to do with Civ VI so moved to OT --NZ

Edit: Actually, this concerns Devils Tower AND Giants Causeway.

What if I told you, Devil's Tower is in fact... a giant Tree Stomp. Before you say anything, let me hit you with a game quote: "New Opinions are often opposed, without reason, simply because they are not already known."

This is by far, one of the most fascinating presentations I have seen, about Giant Tree's, with photographic evidence, and there is new research emerging concerning the Fossilization of Trees and "other things." to which I will also direct you attention to professor Roger of Mudfossil University, though I don't have any particular video of his to share with you, I will pick something anyway.

This oh so fascinating important presentation is called "No Forests on Earth." it shows the famous Devil's Tower among it's many examples. What if what remains of Earth, is just Quarry Waste compared to what it was, and governments love to destroy the past, esp if it goes against mainstream viewpoints.

Now, Personally I believe the Previous video, and do not believe Roger of Mudfossil University, in his claim that Devil's Tower is really a giant foot, and that the Earth is the Skull of Ymir. Some of his theories are interesting, but he is far out there, I mean REALLY far out there. Too much, even for me.

It's the core of an extinct volcano.

 Don't we have a humor and jokes thread for posts like this?

I really doubt a giant tree like that could even exist. But I guess I have no idea. Isn't there a reason why the world's tallest trees are a tiny fraction of the height?

Besides, if such giant trees ever existed, and this is what happens to them after they die.. surely we'd find more of these around.

Besides, don't we already know what this is? A giant pie cavemen were building out of fruits and berries and a crust made out of deer hide?

Did you watch the video on the Achilles tendon?

Giants in the hyperborea/barbaricum continuum aren't important enough to warrant doing stuff against them.
Same is true for new world giants - no one cares.
Basically anything more to the north than the Griffons is irrelevant.

Must be the stump of Yggdrasil.
