My avatar was made by Pete Atoms from a Wikipedia image of the crux ordis Theutonicorum, or the Cross of the Teutonic Order. I thought it was the best of the symbols of the Order for avatar use, cos it looks the coolest. That also explains my user title...Grandmaster (Hochmeister) being the head of the Order...and my signature, which contains their motto.

I rotate them every two weeks anyway so it's not as though I would be having a huge problem for long if I did disapprove.

Bach is regarded as the greatest composer that ever lived, Beethoven and Mozart agree. In regards to the actual quote, Beethoven doesn't think that his last name does his influence on music enough justice!

For example, if you were a great general and your last name was "Gamelin" I would say that you should be called "Alexander" instead of "Gamelin."
