How'd I miss this thread?

The drawing in my avatar is from an old newspaper comic strip called "Pottsy" about a gaggle of kindly, time-killing, New York City cops. And as a kindly, time-killing, New York City cop, it suits me well.

The line under the username is from THHGTTG; it's the way Zaphod Beeblebrox is described by his shrink and several other characters.

The sigs are pretty much self-explanatory and are adapted from things my drill instructor used to say (loudly).
