Information Drought?

We're getting new civs on Friday with the first hint of them today. I call that new fuel for speculation with genuine goods on Friday. That's an end to a drought. Now if we have to wait till June for the rest, I don't know. But for now, we have what we wanted.

I'm pretty sure the schedule is going to be the two civs on Friday (May 17), and then the final two civs at E3 (June 11-13), and of curse the release on July 9. Seeing as Portugal and Zulu were officially revealed on April 12, it means it's been about a month between the major reveals. There never was a drought, just a schedule and all of us being too impatient.

Sure, Portugal and Zulu were hinted before the 12, but I mean, we got the achievement list revealed, the box art, that crappy facebook video, an interview hinting at Morocco all between April 12 and May 17, so it's not like there was no information between now and the last two civs.

They aren't going to be at E3. That's one of the reasons some people think we will find out all the civs by the beginning of June.

Do we know when the information will be released tomorrow and through what medium?

Not really, no. Shaka and Maria were teased on Facebook, but then gamer magazines unleashed their articles on Friday morning with the details. I think the same will happen tomorrow.

Look people, you aren't going to get flooded with info unless you want to wait until the game comes out. They're actually giving information, which is what we want.

Didn't hear that, but I still have no doubt we'll get the info about the same time.

I doubt that. If you're a game developer and specifically choose not to go to E3, then why would you chose to release information about your new game at the time when all the gaming media in the world will be focused on E3?
The theory that they've planned to have released all their important information before E3, hence there's no need to go, makes much more sense to me.

I would expect a Brave New World site becoming online soonish with info of all Civs and stuff. Such expansion site has always come for each expansion a month or two before the release date. :)

Huuuffft its a very loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong friday.
It's already 17:00 in Indonesia and still we haven't got confirmation on our inclusions, waiting is such a bad thing.
It's only 6:30 on the USA east coast AFAIK, so at least a couple more hours

Based on when they gave us the hints it'll probably be in something like 8 hours.

The site is up, but there's not much on it right now. Even scrolling through the gallery, the site itself seems unaware that Portugal and the Zulu have been announced. Obviously they're not going to post the intros to all the civs before all the civs have been announced, but for the moment, they don't seem to be updating it at all.

Magazine articles should start appearing in an hour or so, based on when they were published last month.

I will be extremely happy if this is the case.
