Ok, thank you for the input guys. I actually didn't build any wonders on my turn, so no harm is done regarding the city cpecialization
Preturn: I saw that we have three priest specialists in Madrid, and I gave them other professions. Why would we want another GProphet?
Turn 1
Alex gets the circumnavigation bonus. We capture the last iron mine of Bismark, no more pikemen for you Bizi
Turn 2
We are the first to liberalism, wohooo

Krockel said Steel, steel it is

Research set to Printing Press. I actually stopped the research for two turns, b/c I wanted to upgrade some cats to canons. Meanwhile Bismark makes a pathetic try to settle another city, the result - we got another worker. The fact that I fired the priests in Madrid, didn't help, a Great Prophet is born in Madrid. I will fortify him there, and let the the team decide what to do with him. Also switched from Slavery to Serfdom, b/c we have a lot of land to improve.
Turn 3
Peter shows up with an offer, and I accept:
Turn 5
We capture Frankfurt, two cats lost in process, but nothing else. Beer and Frankfurter sausage for all
Turn 9
We trade ivory for stone to Alex. Thus we can build the Spiral Minaret in Madrid for less time.
Turn 10
The last day of war, Bismark's cities are down to 0% and we are ready to attack... Charge!!! The canons really kick a$$ this early in the game, not only they do nice colateral damage, but they actually kill their targets. Something I couldn't say about the cats

No more suicidal cats. The attack succeeds, and we take both cities. Finally I got the glory of destroying a civ... oh wait. Something is wrong, Bismark is still alive. He must be having another city... I bought a map from Peter and lo and behold:
No glory for me

Stuttgart is on Peter's continent, and there's more land in the south-west part of the map (not surprisingly.) Big, big problem, war weariness is killing us, and we cannot end the war, can we? If Stuttgart was a christian city, we would have had the option to make Bismark convert and sign a peace treaty. But is' not. However
if we give libreralism to Peter he will declare war on Bismark, and hopefully capture his last city. I think this is the right thing to do.
Research set to replacable parts. Although we have big expenses, we are doing well in the science department, except for the fact that Peter has economics, but we have steel instead

Have fun Adamlan!
