My first 3 years of high school were nothing.
All of a sudden, my senior year, it's like my eyes opened and I'm seeing things that I should've noticed awhile ago about my school and about some of my friends. You can probably guess what I'm talking about...
Drugs.
One of my friends I learned is a dealer and uses it himself, another one of my friends (who I'll talk about later) is apparently trying extacy.
Just two weeks ago, I was going home with a friend of mine and he decided to give a ride home to one of his co-workers as well. They started talking about drugs and what not and I was just sittin their listening with some curiousness when the kid asked me if I ever drank or smoked. I said no and he asked if I ever wanted to, he could fix me up real easy. I said no thanks. And you know what he said?
"That's cool man, living life like a straight arrow. I wish I could stop now but it's just too damn hard and I like it too much."
Made me proud because I realized later that night that I said no to drugs and during the past week, I've said no twice.
Now tonight...
Tonight I'm going to a bowling lock in (for about 2-3 hours) with a bunch of co-workers and apparently one or two of the girls is going to be on extacy (one I talked about). I'm just hoping one of my other friends won't be persuaded by her or pressured to do some cause if her parents found out... bad.
Well, just had to say something, not much of a point really. Hopefully I'll be able to say no myself tonight, though I'm pretty sure I will
