Interesting Screenshots

Another screen cap, same game.

I was curious if was possible to get a GL with the Vikings UU in action. I guess I got my answer.

Spoiler :

Wow! A Viking leader can even walk on water!!! :p

I think my military advisor is having mood swings. I just captured the Byzantine city of Dyrrachium, and he's mad?

Now, to explain how this happened. Well, like I said, I captured Dyrrachium. Since this comes from my story, I was going to take a screenie, but hit "Great! Install a new governor" first. Luckily, my computer is slow, and I was able to take a screenie before the resistance screen popped up, but his mood had already changed from happy to angry, creating this somewhat interesting effect.

Did you start it in that small little Island:eek:?

I have the adviser being mad like this several times, even know the situation was good, not only the military adviser, but all of then.

One that I like it a lot, is when I open the domestic adviser says "build more cities", even know I have dozens of cities.

Nah, just read his story. It will explain all.

You can always chose a different name if you like, also if you cancel the settler and try to settler again, it will jump to the next city. I'm playing right now, so I didn't even look at what civ he was playing, and yes I do know that the capital of the Byzantine is Constantinople :p.

The AI doesen't play around with names. ;)

Plus, choxorn is not that evil. :p

If you didn't know, Constantinople is the Byzantine capitol, not Dyrrachium.

Actually, it's Istanbul, not Constantinople;)

@ansar>>> I tough that Capital was his Capital not the AI...lol

@Da_V_Man>>> Constantinople was the original Capital name. Constantinople was later renamed to Istanbul ;).

Alas, I forgot to make a screenshot, but in one of my recent games I saw the Zulu had built a second scout.

Maybe he popped it from a hut.

Actually Byzantium was the original name, hence Byzantine, but Constantine decided to rename it. Actually, I think Da_V_Man was just singing that not Constantinople song.

Lyrics:

Istanbul was Constantinople
Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it's Turkish delight on a moonlit night

Every gal in Constantinople
Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you've a date in Constantinople
She'll be waiting in Istanbul

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works
That's nobody's business but the Turks

Istanbul (Istanbul)
Istanbul (Istanbul)

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way

Istanbul was Constantinople
Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works
That's nobody's business but the Turks

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works
That's nobody's business but the Turks

Istanbul

Sure, why not?

I'm fairly sure that you can't pop scouts, or I'd have done it by now. Are you saying the AI can?
Anyhoo, I was using Sedentary Barbarians in this particular game.

Next time, read what I've written with the picture. :p

Plus, look at the unit that captured it. The AI (almost) never builds armies, and it absolutely never renames anything.
