Internet Game - CFC game

What are your timezones? I am -5 GMT.

For me, I would choose an evening starting around 9:30 or 10:00 EST and ending around midnight. As to the evening, I am thinking Tuesday or Wednesday. But I can be somewhat flexible... (some times if everyone playing is agreed we can go longer, but we would have to commit to at least the two hours)

I definitely would like to try a multiplayer game, would someone get me up to speed on the discussion?

As did Knoedel suggested, i would prefer to play a mod as Legends of Revolution, or even CCV( though i don't think the latter has good mp support).
LoR is easy to get, its sort of a Unofficial exp pack. Playing vanilla without it is really boring.
The best feature is the revolutions that occur, making it a bit harder but more diverse game.

It would be awesome to play all at once without AI civs.
A small map with handful of human players

For several weeks to come, I am going to be swamped with work. And after I am going to have a short holiday (and holiday means no PC for me).

Taking all this into account I think I should not make committments I am not sure I'll be able to meet. So count me out. You guys have a good game! In a few months maybe I'll try to play online again.

I think skype with everyone chatting would make the game way more enjoyable.

Also, what type of connection?
I've never used the multiplayer before, but I imagine there must be a small setup needed for direct ip.
Over virtual lan is also an option, using hamachi.

I'm currently playing a game of LoR, things took a unexpected turn and its pretty fun. Revolutions sprawling all over the place.

Gamespy will do I suppose. Just create an account and log into the lobby and you will probably find the game. We´ll get together on Skype tomorrow and there we can answer any other questions that come up.
