This arrived with the mail. As I receive about 2 nonbirthday-mails per year I got interested. The mail was in swedish but here is a rough translation:

"Neuropsychiatric centre holds meetings under the spring 2007 for youngsters (I don't know any better word so this is what I shall call it)

The goal with the meetings is for the youngsters to gain greater knowledge of autism/Asperger's syndrome and meet other youngsters with the same handicap (though I don't think it's an handicap...).

At one of this meetings we will invite an adult who will tell about how it is and how it has been for him to have Asperger's Syndrome.

We will meet at [insert location here] at [insert time here].

At all meetings we invite parents and youngsters to fika (I really don't know the word...). This means even the parents has the opportunity to meet and talk.

The group should consist of 8-10 youngsters.

[insert names here]"

So, what should I do? Go to the meetings? Ignore it?

My parents think I should go.

What do you think about these kind of meetings?

Check to see if the speaker has any credible publications in the scientific literature. If he does, you should consider it.

I can never recommend against learning something about your own brain.

Try it once man, it will probably help you. If it's so horrible you don't have to go back:D

Sounds like junkmail to me.

Go man!

Get to know the Asperger's folks.

How did junk mail know you were an aspergers? I would be very suspicious of that because it is quite an uncommon condition. Somebody who you were supposed to trust must have given away your medical information

Sentient mail? I'm scared.

I went to the meeting! And you can never guess what!

There was four aspergers, including me. 2 boys and two girls(!)

The boy was very quiet. Deadly quiet.

Girl #1 asked why there are so few asperger girls all the time.

Girl #2 seemed to be pretty normal.

Now the question is, how do I get their phone numbers?
