I, for one, would like to not have a whole world map, or even as much as a hemisphere. What if we do a Europe one, an Asia one, India, Japan, China, Russia, Mesoamerica, all great possibilities.

First of all, it depends on the era, depending on what the GMs (You are one of them, can you tell us what's going on in GM land?) decide, Industrial or Classical. I see no reason to not do the whole world if we do industrial.

If we do Classical, I'd either like to see what Taillesskangaru suggested or just Europe, Middle East, and North Africa.

We've redone the tech/economy system, we're thinking about a stability mechanic, looks like we're going to go with industrial, we're probably going to implement some kind of trading mechanism, and we're adding 'national bonuses', small little bonuses that are unique to your nation.

This all sounds good to me. When are we starting?

PS: I will support a stability system as well.

Industrial? The one that everyone passed up in favour of Modern or Mediaeval and then got doubly passed up when people rushed for Renaissance as a compromise?

The logic escapes me as well, Arakhor. :scan:

I think a game with different maps for different regions would be interesting, it would allow more room for potential players and keep the game going longer with more territories to claim.

I would oppose it because then its basically two games being packaged as one game. Taillesskangaru's idea didn't seem too bad though.

We haven't gotten very far into it, just brainstorming ideas.

Were mine discussed?
